You MUST be joking! Most men can barely handle a toothache, much less being pregnant or giving birth! Actually, the fact is women have a higher thresh hold for pain. Nature's way of helping us out a little I guess (and I do mean a little).
EDIT
And for the guy who said women want to be pampered, I worked in a nursing home, helping lift people as heavy as I was, until I was 8 months along (not on light duty). Does that sound pampered? I don't think so!

I know my husband could handle it. He's better at handling pain then I am. He deals with chronic pain (he has MS) and I know I couldn't do that. I've been a whiny complaining pregnant woman..and I know I want drugs for the birth. I know he could handle it. I don't think women give men enough credit, if mens' bodies were built for it they could do it too.

Not at all--- it is the end of the world if my husband is sick or injured. Same with every boyfriend I have ever had, as well as my dad and my brother. I love him to death, but hubby is a whiner. So no, I don't think they could handle it. I can't expect someone it took 3 years of marriage to build up the "courage" to go out and buy tampons to birth a child. He can barely handle ME being pregnant. Sorry boys! :-)

I do, as a man, believe that I would be able to handle it as well as most women . I cannot speak for every man, but i do believe that with a reward that great, I am sure that I could survive it. I do give all the mothers an enormous amount of credit for having to en dour the pregnancy and the birth of our future generations.

If we were made the same to have babies - then what would that be! I believe that if men were able to have a baby then it would have happened about a million years ago - and today it would be no big deal - but it didn't - females have the babies and there is no other choice. Are perhaps you know of a different way to have babies !

probably better because when a man get put in a tough situation he just accepts it and pushes through asking for as little help as needed. Women want to be pampered and have food brought to them while they were pregnant. Of course on the other hand the man would be much less responsible with the baby as far as alcohol use and perhaps doing to much work while pregnant. So I suppose the current system is best for everyone.

probably if they where meant to have children, but men are not "designed" to have children, so obviously if some guy just suddenly got pregnant, he may not be able to handle it because it's just not programmed into men to handle having a baby.

I don't think that they would be able to.
Have you ever seen a guy when he is passing a kidney stone?
Pathetic.
I can't imagine them trying to pass something the size of a small watermelon.

Not at all. Look how they react when they get kicked in the balls! What would they do if a baby was in there stomach for nine months. A baby kicks a lot.
