This is easier said than done, but try to elevate them whenever you sit down, and sit down as much as possible. Someone on here previously answered that a body pillow was comforting to women at the end of their pregnancy--you could put the bottom part between your legs and cuddle the rest of it--I'm assuming you can only sleep on your side. Of course, don't eat a lot of salty food or processed food that contains a lot of salt. Make sure you drink enough water, but not too much. Good luck. I hope the swelling eases up for you.

Try elevating your legs at night. Also, have you talked to your Ob doc? He/she may recommend some compression stockings for the remainder of your pregnancy. Those will help with the return flow of blood and that is part of the reason why your legs are swelling. Your doc is your first and best resource. Ask specifically about the stockings.

Drink a lot of water, nothing with salt in it, salt will make you swell more. Don't drink any sodas. Place a pillow under your feet when your laying down. If you aren't walking much, then you need to. Congrats

drink water only during the day, and keep them propped up.
It will make you pee ALOT, but by night you should be able to sleep better, as much better as you can get at 9 months pregnant.

I agree with everyone else - water, rest, elevate the feet... all that jazz. I've also found that swimming helps (Really helps with the backaches, too). It relieves the pressure on your legs, back, and stomach from all the gravity.
Congrats!

Soaking your legs in cold water will help the swelling go down some.
