Pregnancy & Parenting - 27 November 2006

I'm on day three of being alone with my kids (I have 2 ages 1 1/2 and 2 1/2). Their father is staying at his father's for a while due to a new job. For the next month, 2 months maybe I will be here with the kids and only going up to see him on weekends, then the girls and I will move there. Anyways, all I have heard since I got off of work is " I WANT MY DADDY!!!!!!" I called and he's not off from work yet. How can I do this? Any suggestions?

my ped. recommended switching my 3 month old to soy since she was really gassy and spitting up alot its been over 2 weeks but during that switch she got constipated. she is pooping little amounts eveyday but it is harder than peanut butter and is green. ive tried pear juice and water should i switch her back to the original formula?

I am a 23 year old college grad, professional. I would have never thought that I would be in this position, however, if I hadn't finished school or was in a different situation I would probably have had an abortion. The problem however, is that I'm having problems getting over the father of my baby. He waited until the 7th month to tell me he couldn't do this due to the fact that he was in a relationship, and going to med school next fall. We have been close for over a year and we've tried to end things several times, but there was always something that brought us back. I really hate the fact that I'm thinking about him constantly, and I know that there isn't a day that he doesn't think about me. I know that he's extremely scared about the situation, and hasn't told anyone. Should I give up all hope that he will eventually come around? Being that I'm hormonal at times, I sometimes think about bursting the news to his family and friends. Please advise, I'm constantly thinking about this

ok, heres the situation...

ive been going out with this guyfor like a year and a half. (im 14) and two months ago, we had sex. (my mother does not even know that we socialize, she dosent really even know who he is) i skipped a period the next month, and i took a pregnancy test that said that i was preg. (but i know that they are only deffinate if it says no) so i assumed that i wasnt, because i thought that it was wrong. so i started to get nausous (sry, cant spell) and i thought that it was morning sickness, so i took another test, and it was positive. but then i got my period. so i know that im not pregnant now, but how should i look at this situation?

like i was preg. and i misscarried or i just wasnt preg. and that test were wrong????

My daugter attends nursery school. She has 1 teacher and 2 aides,all wonderful. She also attends Sunday school,1 teacher and 1 aide also great. I need inexpensive,appropriate ideas. Most of the teachers/aides are older. Thanks!!

I stopped bleeding at 4 weeks and then a couple days ago I started again. with my 1st I stopped at 4 weeks and it was done. I have my 6 week checkup in another week but should I be concerned about this? I also have heard if you do too much or are on your feet too much bleeding could start again. I have a 15 month old and it's hard not to pick her up through out the day. I just don't know if I should be concerned about the bleeding starting again or if I should give it a few more weeks?

My two month old baby has had some eye leakage for about 2 weeks..it is kind of crusty when he wakes up and needs to be wiped off a lot. I asked the doctor over the phone what to do..he said to wipe it with pre-boiled water on a cotton pad as needed..and is most likely a tear-duct blockage..and to call him back if the white of the eye turns pink. I am just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this and has any suggestions because it just isn't going away!

I saw this show about the astonishing number of sexual offenders in this country. It spoke about how offenders blend into our community and they are always looking for another victim. I have 2 boys and it scared me to death I need to find out who they are and were they are and what they look like. I feel that if I know this information my kids will be safer. And I will be doing my job as a parent working to keep them safe.

She wakes up crying every night crying. She takes a 2 hr nap in the daytime. I put her to bed between 8 pm to 9 pm. She's been waking up for quite some time now. I thought she would grow out of it but she still does it. Someone told me she may have a medical condition and I need to get it checked out. Could this be true?

About the Child's Father, For Example: Would you like him listed as a contact? Women get defesive and basically tell me his history as a bad father or take it personal.

All I want to know is do you want him listed as a Contact it has no bearing on your relationship in my mind, Why do most women react that way? Can you help, so I can understand.

My children's biological mother has a terrible drinking and other personal problems which it seems cause her to avoid being a mother to her two children. Though she is supposed to have them Mon. Wed. and Fri. nights. she usually only has them one, at most two nights a week and makes up a very unbelievable excuse (i.e. a 7:30 p.m. MRI on Friday night? we live in a small town and all dr. offices last appts. are at 4:30). This has gone on for almost two years now and the children are growing up and realizing that I'm not supposed to be picking them up on certain days. They've burst into tears and asked me "why isn't my mother picking me up?" "why doesn't mommy want me?" (asked by the 4 yr old) or "what excuse did my mother make up?" (asked by the 9 year old because she believes what her mother says about as much as we do though we don't tell her that). What do I tell them? They aren't accepting, "I don't know she just can't today."
