I've already asked this once, but only got 1 response.

I was just wondering what any teachers thought about having a baby while teaching. When do you think is the best time: due during the school year, requiring leave, or due in May or June, requiring no leave and having the whole summer with the baby.

My husband and I are starting to talk "baby" and are trying to decide what time is the best time to start trying to conceive. Thanks in advance for any advice!

This is my second pregnancy and my boobs are unbarebly sore!! In my first I had no discomfort and my breasts did not get much larger. Does the increased pain in this pregnancy indicate my breasts are already growing??? They have increased a little already but do you think its a sign they will be bigger than last time?

Okay... so here's the situation.

Since early last week, I have been having tummy issues. My stomach and cramp area have been bothering me a lot, and i have been using the restroom a lot (both, sorry).
I am planned to start my "monthly cycle" today. This morning, some blood came, so i assumed i had started. Well about 7 hours later when i took the tampon out, it was really dark, like when your done with your period. So I haven't put another one in since, just a panty liner, but now there isnt any blood coming out, only when i wipe, and its still really dark, and its left me confused. Could this mean Im pregnant?
For any experienced "preggo's" can you tell me if this was something you experienced or sounds like it could be familiar?

Thank you so much, I would just like to learn everything I can before i go out to buy a test or go to the doctors. thanks again =]

Me and my boyfriend broke up for 4 months, I started seeing someone else,we had protected sex twice in September then 3 weeks later my boyfriend and I got back together,had sex on October 7(unprotected)now I'm preganant,I want to keep the baby but I'm scared it may be the other guy's baby. i just put a ? about my son who will be 2 in February. I just want to make sure there is nothing wrong with him.i know I should take him to the doctor, but my doctor always tells me he's just being a boy and I feel stupid. So just let me tell you about him and you tell me .
When he was born he failed his hearing test in 1 ear. At the three month re check he failed both ears. He eventually passed both ears. He now has a language problem, not talking. I mean I've heard him say words once or twice but he usually just babbles with odd sound s or calls everything dadada. He didn't start walking until he was 1, my first started 9 months. When he did start walking he would litterally run straight into a door, wall,person,didn't matter. Then When ever he was mad he would bang his head on to anything hard and leave huge knots. Now he's finally stopped that and started whining ALL the time. He will purposely do something bad while smilin at you. tried time out, ignoring him, whats next? HELP

She is not overweight but, she weighs 65 pounds and she has a big belly and she wants to starve herself. I want her to be stronger and lose that belly WITHOUT starving herself. She runs a mile 1 day a week and eats healthy. Is thier a kid safe way for her to lose weight and become strong in the arms and she runs for her leg strongness. How can she lose weight safely? She is really self-concious about herself , (she is going through puberty)

and also fit in with the other names in our little family.. Josh, Teigan & Jordan. Im finding it really hard to come up with some. I dont like normal names such as Sarah, James, Rebecca, Matthew etc.. i like different names and not too common. Thankyou 4 your suggestions!

he just prefers to chew and suck the toothbrush, i dont want to push it to much incase i scare him altogether but sometimes they need a brush and i have to, i have been following same routine every morning into the bathroom wash first then teeth brushed but still no joy

My boyfriend's daughter is 11. She's a great kid. Smart. Loving. Kind. I've been around since she was two - and she lives with us during the school week. I've noticed that she doesn't show much incentive towards anything. She knows the drill regarding homework - and music practice, but when it comes to other things in life - she just doesn't show incentive. She doesn't say "I want to do this..." or "I'm saving up for this" or "Do you think I could..." When I was her age I was putting on shows and carnivals with my friends in my backyard. I would see something in a catalogue and work for the money to get it. She gets fundraiser stuff from school or scouts - but without our help and prodding - it would just sit. If we suggest an outing or a game - she's up for it - but very rarely does she announce what she wants or what she's working towards. I know there are lots of different kinds of people in the world, but I worry about her a bit. Also - what can I do to encourage her?

i'm 39 weeks pregnant .. 1.5 cm dilated .. My stomach keeps getting hard.... "uterus is hardening" aka contractions.... Not much pain though as labor contractions are described to have.. what exactly does this mean? Is my labor very close by or is this false hope?

I read questions asking about their child and ADHD and ADD. There are people out there who say its the drug companies who make this stuff up and its lazy teachers that just wanna break. If a child has ADHD, its so real. Both my boys have it. My child suffered because I was on the kick that I wasn't gonna drug my child etc. Know who I hurt.....him. He was failing in school, he had no friends, he was reading way below his level. He couldn't play sports because he couldn't pay attention. Now he is doing great in school, he has friends, he enjoys reading, he loves to play basketball. His life has completely changed and he is so much happier. Where do people who have no kids get off telling parents that ADHD is not real. These kids need help and we owe it to them to have happy childhoods. I agree that there are kids that are wrongly diagnosed because poor discplined. To say it doesn't exist...come on!

I would like to get pregnant within the next couple of months. I'v been keeping track of my cycles for several months. They're exactly 28 days long, so according to pretty much every ovulation calculator out there day 14 is when I normally ovulate. But last month I had some breakthrough bleeding on day 16 and I kept bleeding through the week when I usually have my period. I stopped 4 days later on the day I usually stop bleeding when I have my period. Any ideas when I might ovulate next?

P.S. I called the clinic and the nurse I spoke to said that breakthrough bleeding around ovulation is normal and not to worry.
