Pregnancy & Parenting - 7 November 2006

I have a 4 and 7 year old, I am trying to get more organized and give them chores. Does anyone know a website maybe that has good ideas. Or does anyone have and ideas to getting me and them more organized. I would like them to get more involved in housework since they are now both old enough to help out. Also what is some good rewards to give them?

I was wondering if any other women has had this problem after having a baby....Anytime my husband and I have sex only in the missionary position (any other position is fine) that it feels like I'm ripping open... Last night my husand and I had sex and he said that i have a small paper cut type tear closer to the bottom of the vaginal opening..When I had my daughter 20 months ago i did not have a episiotomity I tore naturally and had 15 stitches...my question is has any other women had this problem and had to have corrective surgery for it?

My friend has offered a few times to help me with any items on a baby registry that I am creating for the first time now for my baby. My friend went through her first registry last year so she is familiar with things... and I have another friend in town and my cousin who are also there to help me out in any way.
So my friend...I asked her in email what is a good brand of bottles to get and if she uses a sterilizer for cleaning the bottles? Then she replied back that evening telling me about Playtex VentiAir being good to prevent gas for babies and also they contain the slow and fast nipples for convenience of baby. She said that is good and her little girl likes them. Then she told me about what sterilization she uses. I found her info to be very helpful.. She even offered to look at my registry once I complete it and give me any more suggestions and she did that at her time from her coworker... Having said that she actually went with a friend to Babies R Us and picked out things

I'm still enjoying putting on my makeup, but it won't even last for 2 hours ever since I'm pregnant. I've used primer, loose powder, etc. Does this happen to you? Any advice?

I will be 35 weeks on Friday... and have been having contractions for a week. I was sent to the hospital 6 days ago for a fetal weight ultrasound and although the cervix was soft and I had lost my mucus plug I was NOT dialated at all. I went to the doctor yesterday and now I am dialated 2 cm. My doctor decided that they will not try to stop an early labor. This whole pregnancy has been very different than my first one; I never went into labor naturally with him, I was induced two days after my due date and he was 9 and a half pounds. I am feeling quite nervous about the possibility of having this baby so early. I was hoping for some other mothers who had premature babies after 30 weeks to share your experience with me.
What kind of complications did you have?
How far along were you?
What was you babies weight and measurements?
How long did you/the baby stay at the hospital?
How is your baby now, have they had any development issues?

I am very regular with my periods and was due with my period on the 19th of oct,I still haven't got it yet. Last week I saw a post on here where a woman was talking about hiring a private eye to investigate her daughters boyfriend. Somebody mention the link http://background-records.net/ as a good place to find info online. Well I checked out the site and entered my sisters boyfriends name and found out that he was convicted of armed robbery in 1999. I know this is him because the name, date of birth, and address are all the same. I am sure my sister or my dad doesn't know.......should I tell my sister or our dad? I don't know how to handle this situation.

It's a chore... and now some random woman is harassing me via e-mail & accusing me of verbally abusing her child (for the record: I didn't). I like most members... but I've had enough. My toddler isn't going to miss them really.

What is the best day to conceive after your period ??

For those of you who have had babies or known someone to experience periods during pregnancy....how heavy/painful were they? I am asking because I feel pregnant although my test was negative and I had a fairly heavy and painful period last month, but not as bad as normal. I am not asking this as a replacement for medical advice; I have a doctors' appointment coming up soon but wanted feedback in the meantime. Thanks.

my 3 year old little girl wasnt that bad until her little brother was born. he is now 6 months and she is getting out of control.ive tried everything. being nice, being nasty, the naughty step, time out, ive treated her eveytime shes been good, nothing works.she shouts at me swears at me and wont go to bed. she used to be such a happy little girl. its not because shes left out cause i always involve her.

I give birth to my baby 28 days ago, and I brest feed for like the frist week, then I got sick, and I been using formula. Now my brests are out of milk. I'm wondering if I buy a pump and start pumping it, will my brest milk return.

I was dating this man and got pregnant. he told me he did not want the baby but would support whatever I decided. He was good for about a month and then he started acting like ajerk, never coming to any appointments even when there was a fear that the unborn child had a heart defect. He refused to work and I gave him alot of money in an effort to help him. Throuhout my pregnancy he stressed me out, treated me badly and wasn't there for me so in my 5th or 6th month I eneded it. When I was 8 mths he confessed to me that he really lives with another woman and had been lying to me the entire time we had known each other (we haven't spoke since then.) He has several children, none of which he supports financially, and my baby makes number 6. My baby is now 3 months old and this man is contacting me via email & stating that he needs to talk to me. He hasnt provided one cent of support for the baby. i dont know what to do. i've given him millions of chances & he always screws it up.
