It's a chore... and now some random woman is harassing me via e-mail & accusing me of verbally abusing her child (for the record: I didn't). I like most members... but I've had enough. My toddler isn't going to miss them really.
Has anyone else experience this? Has your playgroup become too petty and "high school"?

Just stop going. I never did a playgroup because of the politics.

I'm on a leadership team of our mom's group here in the Phoenix, AZ area. I've never had this happen, however I've heard of this happening. Just tell them you don't have time anymore or just say you no longer want to be apart of one, you do not need to give a reason. Then find another one in your area.

Hey if you're in AZ, message me, we have a great mom's club!

If you are close with one of the members of the group just call them and let them know what's going on and tell them that you are leaving the group. They can pass the info on to the rest of the group. If you are not that close with any of the members, just stop going and don't worry about it.
