My 5 year old foster daughter has been going through a very wet spell lately. She is averaging a wet pair of panties about every couple days. On occassion, she can go a week or more w/o but it's still becoming overwhelming. She wears a pull up at night and unfortunately, now has to wear one to Kindergarten too. She has peed herself at least 20 times and even pooped herself twice in the past 2 1/2 months. When asked why, her answers vary from, "I forgot", "I don't know" and "something was more important that going to the bathroom (TV, Playing, etc.). I need advice on how to help her get thru this. She even peed her pull up yesterday and would not admit that she did it. I asked her and she said she didn't. I showed it to her, had her smell it and she still would not admit she went to the bathroom in it. She seems to like being in trouble and this may be another sign of it. Please help! She tells us that she doesn't want to live with us anymore.

have any of you weighed less immediately after you had your baby than when you concieved it? My mom said she weighed 10 lbs less and my brother was healthy as could be...i think gaining an extra 15 lbs of fat is ridiculous if you are at a healthy weight to begin with...my baby is due in july i'm almost 140 now at 5.6' and i don't plan on gaining any extra "fat" weight. Just the normal 20 you gain because of the weight of the baby, placenta etc.

when you see your child smile, here are the thoughts..

Mommy I Wish

Mommy I wish I could put this in grown up words,
so you would really understand how much you mean to me.

I know I’m just a little kid right now,
and I don’t know all the things you need.

I wish I could pick you up and hold you,
like you do when I’m hurt or feeling sad.

‘Cause I know sometimes it’s hard for you,
to punish me, when I’ve been bad.

I wish I could give you all the things we need,
and I wish I could go to work for you.

So you could stay home and play,
and do the things you like to do.

Mommy I love you, and I’m so proud too,
and wish that all the little kids in the world,
could have a mommy, just like you.

Mommy do you know my biggest wish of all?
for all that you do.

I wish and I pray everyday,
that I will grow up, and be just like YOU.

I am 24 with 3 children. Yes, I started young. Anyway, my oldest is 9 and my youngest is 6. I am married now but not with their father. My husband has one biological son that is 7 he dosent get to see that often. He is wanting us to have a child together. We both were very young when we had children. Can you blame him for wanting another child? I would be okay with the ones we have. I am also open to his feelings. What would you do?

We are going to a college football game in two weeks and are planning to bring our 2 month old baby with us (she'll be 3 months when we go). We'll be in at the Metradome in a skybox so it's not outside or anything. A bunch of my husband's nosey co-workers don't think we should bring the baby because it will be too loud or whatever. I'm not comfortable leaving her with anyone for the weekend as she is not sleeping through the night yet. Is it OK to bring her with? I was planning on just bringing our baby bjorn carrier and strapping her to me during the game. What do you think?

I had a tubal banding done November 2002. My cycles are usually totally regular, every 23 days. I was due to start 10/16 but didn't. This is day # 18 with no period, only light pink spotting here & there that comes & goes. I took a pregnancy test 10/27 & it was
negative. Yes, I'm having sex - but how likely is it that I could be pregnant? I would appreciate any answers/advice. Thanks!

Do any of you ever feel enslaved by your little one's schedule? I have a six month old who is on a really good napping/feeding schedule, which is great, but I feel like I can't ever leave the house. He either needs a nap or needs to eat or something. I hate to mess up his day because I want/need to go to the store. He also doesn't like to be held very much so if we are out and about and he gets fussy, it is hard to do anything with him...

70% of all pregnancies (google it) are unwanted. It is other thing that after getting a kid, girls say that this is their biggest happiness and they always wanted. But the fact is 70% of women did not wanted a kid at first place.

Procreating a kid has to be lust...I saw a blue film where girl got pregnant in reality (shooting for that same film) and the way they were doing intercourse dumbfounded me...it was pure lust with heavy breathing and loud noises.

Lust explains unwanted teen pregnancies.... i even asked my mom whether i was unwanted pregnancy...she said no and added she planned me.

Finally after researching lot , i have come to conclusion life is all lust and lust is life. We have introduced word love to make it better and interesting and make more emotional lust.

2 years ago, i know a couple who were f***** passionately to get a kid. One year ago, they got the kid. And today, they are fighting in court for divorce. This was pure lust. New body, new positions.....

I'm interested in what years hospital births began to be common, in what years various states made it illegal to use a midwife, when it was normal to strap a woman down for childbirth, and what other practices have come and gone over the years. Anything you can tell me and any links would be helpful.
