A woman usually ovulates 14 days before her next due period. So if you have a 24 day cycle then you should ovulate on the 10th day.

With the short cycle like that, the ovulation could occur straight after your period is over, or even during the last days of your period. But it's not a rule. Try to measure temperature inside vagina over the whole cycle. Temperature higher then usual in the cycle indicates the time, you are ovulating. Carry on through 2 or 3 cycles and you will be able to establish more less, when you are fertile.

The best thing to do is take your temperature every morning when you wake up. Your temperature will rise when you ovulate and stay higher until your next period starts. For more information and information on the Sympto-thermal method of NFP check out www.ccli.org. (Don't be out off by the religious bias, the method is excellent and 99% effective).
Every womans cycle is unique, it such as shame we have all been led to believe that one must have a 28 day cycle to be normal.

Roughly around 10 days after LMP but it can vary. Usually a woman can tell when she is ovulating because of the milky white discharge.
