Different people tell me different things. One says when the baby weighs 20 pounds. Another tells me when the baby turns one year old. I'd like to know, because my daughter is over 20 pounds and her body is starting to get too long for her to be facing the rear.

my question is this im trying my best here giving her the meds. she refuses therapy she doesnt talk .i take her to the psychiatrist she doesnt talk to him .my thing is ive tried different meds ways to take them. everything i say she does the opposite. i help her im all willing shes not ive tried talking to her she doesnt listen to me or her teachers .i have a 7 year old also who copies her sister im at the end here where do i draw the concept of you cant help someone who doesnt want it .she has the **** its .my seven year old needs me shes willing .please help

My daughter is 14 months old and recently started screaming her head off when i take her out of her highchair and set her on the floor. If i pick her up she is perfectly fine, but when i take her out of her chair it is because i am going to clean it and i need her to understand that she can't be held all of the time. Should i just let her cry in hopes that she will learn that her cries are not going to get her everything or shoud i really give in to her and comfort her?

This woman on my block has at least 7 kids (5 of who live with her). The run around the block curssing people out and screaming and just terrorizing the neighborhood. What get's me is she just sits right their and laughs while all this is going on, thinking it's cute. Sometimes I just wanna grab her and smack some sense into her.

Have you ever felt this way about another parent?

I SUCCESSFULLY potty trained my three yr old girl when she was about 18 or 19 months old. It was so nice, and not even very hard. And no, it WAS NOT ME doing all the work. Now I have a little boy who is 16 months old and I want to get him potty trained in the very near future. I am pregnant with a baby due in February, and I definately would like to see it happen before then. My daughter was potty trained in about a week. For those of you who think I should wait for a couple years, you're wasting your time telling me that because I have had good experience.

school get treated better by their peers and teachers, I guess a study was done on this to prove it. What do you think...thinking back I do remember wen I was in school my friend always wore name brands and was always dressed well and she got treated much better than I did by classmates, I got clothes fromt he salvation army and was often made fun of.

THREE ADULT men living in a 2-bedroom condo. My ex-father-in-law bought a futon because in a couple of year he wants my girls to be able to spend the night over there. (My girls are 5 and 7- blonde, blue eyed beautiful girls). My ex-and his brother are BOTH alcoholics, have NO LICENSES and only have jobs because their DADDY brings them to work or gets them up for work and they ride their BICYCLES to work. I AM 100% AGAINST MY GIRLS SLEEPING OVER THERE FOR TWO REASONS, ONE ALCOHOLISM AND TWO, their are THREE ADULT MEN WHO LIVE THERE REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY ARE RELATED OR NOT. DO YOU AGREE WITH ME??

I put my son to bed in a fresh diaper evernight and everymorning he is soaked from literally belly to toes. Its deffinately not what I want to wake up to. I have enough work to do everyday never mind adding washing all his blankets everyday. everything in my house stinks like pee any suggestions I have tried a bigger size as well as many different brands.

Myy 6 month old has absolutely no appetite.
She drinks only 4 oz of formula every 4 hrs.
The formula does not give her any kind of trouble .
She is NEVER hungry and has absolutely no interest in food or formula.She does not eat well even if I dont feed her anything for 6-7 hrs.I am thinking of asking the doctor to give her something to increase her appetite
I was wondering if anybody had a similar kind of problem and if the doctor has given anything to increase baby's appetite and did it really work.
Any kind of tips or advice are more than welcome and really appreciated .

I need some advice on coping with my son's estranged father coming back into his life. He hasn't been around for a year and now he want to see my almost three year old, and I have to let him, but I am going crazy inside my head knowing my son will have to be sent to spend time with, essentially, strangers. ok perfect example. Just happened, ok still happening. I made her Nachos for lunch. She wants refried beans, but we are out. She told me that we do to have them, and continues to bring me every can off the shelf. I told her I know we are out, and I will buy more for next time, but she refuses to believe me!!! ahhhhh!!!

I have child proffed my house to all extent that I can I bought oulet covers door knob covers cabinet safety lock bungee corded the fidge closed and took all the knobs off the stove, but they're still getting into everything I am afraid to go to sleep. they get into the books and movies (Icant move them anywhere else I have simply run out of room in my bedroom tryig to hide stuff from them) they get into the dishes by moving the kitchen chairs to the counter and climbing on top of the counters they also turned the oven on this way. I tried pinning all the chairs against the wall behind the table but my son just pushes the table across the room. I am afraid to sleep afraid they will kill them selves babygates dont work he just pushes until it falls down I have no more room to move anything else where and besides my bedroom my house is almost empty as it is. cause I moved next to everything to my room. they just wont listen I can talk I can yell I can spank I can time out and No change
