This woman on my block has at least 7 kids (5 of who live with her). The run around the block curssing people out and screaming and just terrorizing the neighborhood. What get's me is she just sits right their and laughs while all this is going on, thinking it's cute. Sometimes I just wanna grab her and smack some sense into her.

Have you ever felt this way about another parent?

To answer some of your questions, you can tell her anything about her children because they are never wrong (her words, not mine).

One of her friends is a cop so that's a lost cause calling them. She calls the cops all the time when her kids start something with somebody else and get beat up. It's call as long as they can do it, but if it was somebody else, it'll be a problem with her.

Just a wild guess - daddy is not around, and I'll bet she's on public assistance, right?

People who earn their own way in life tend not to put up with that kind of crap from their kids because they have respect for their fellow human beings.

If only we could spank the parents...

There have been plenty of times that I've felt that way. Part of is that some people just don't care. My sister-in-law will wear clothes that are too small on my nieces and they will go weeks without getting a bath. They often smell like cat pee and their hair is never brushed. They also cry all the time about nothing. When I have tried to say something about it it just ended up in a big fight that effected the whole family. I also see parents who think it's funny when their kids make perverted comments to women. I have a hard time understanding why you want your children talking that way or what is so funny about it. Maybe there should be a test you need to take before becoming a parent. It would solve a lot of problems with people having children and not giving a crap about them.

If only you knew. Especially the ones who let their kids talk back to them and call them all type of witches with a capital B. I just think to my self Have you no back-bone? I have a neighbor who is just like yours. Her and her kids know better than to mess with me (and my mom. Mother's a 44 year old live wire).

I don't have kids but I do have a hand in raising nieces, nephews and many little cousins. They know how far to go, and it's due to their parents teaching them right. If I ever do have kids, You'd think they was in boot camp (Not that extreme but you get what I'm saying).

Yes I have felt this way about another parent my own mother actually. She has made a really bad decision in life that will effect her for the rest of her life and my children. When my first son was born I told her that she wasn't allowed over unless she was sober. Well I hate to say this but I can count on one hand on how many times she has come over to see her grandchildren.

I had a friend like that before I was married and had kids. I was shocked at her children's behavior. She thought it was funny that once her daughter had drank a wine cooler, the girl was 7!! I didn't say anything because it wasn't my place. I wish I had called CPS on her, but I was young and it didn't occur to me at the time.

Now that I am a parent, I suppose some of my ideas on parenting makes my friends want to give me a smack too (just like I want to smack them from time to time.) Parenting is so subjective, it's so hard to know when we should say something to someone else. I guess it's best to leave it alone unless the children are in danger.

Disgusting....why don't you call the cops with a noise complaint when they are doing that. Maybe if it happens enough times, it will chase them back into the house. Nothing worse than not being able to enjoy your own neighborhood because of people like that.

yes i have wanted to smack a few parents at one time or another but its hard to teach kids if the parents have no sense. try talking to this parent or get neighbors together and meet with her and explain how the kids behaviours is disrupting the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. if that doesn't help, then when the kids act up..call the police disturbing the peace

Yeah. My mother. My brother used to beat me on a regular basis and I got grounded for it every time. They said it was my fault. She lets my sister walk all over her, and allowed my brother to drop out of school when he turned 16. She will even go out of state for a weekend with my father, and leave him home alone. She was never there when I was growing up because she was working. She was a stripper at a club, and found out latter, that she was always strung up on drugs. She just needs to be slapped a few times to get her **** into gear.

YES........my husband's brother's baby mother.....(not my sister inlaw cuz they're not married)
she is so materialistic and pimps out her baby in Ralph Lauren and Burberry.....and I got her a diaper back from Roots Canada and she turns around and buys her GUCCI diaper bag......and then my brother inlaw bought her the PEG PEREGO stroller she wanted but she just sold it two weeks ago so she could get a BUGABOO stroller because someone else got it at their baby shower 2 weeks ago....!
AND she was dresssing the poor baby in jeans, and golf shirts and BIG boy clothes when he was a month old....becuz she said she wants him to be more masculine...and she is not into the animal, or car or sports prints for babies!!

I don't know what kind of kid or kids she will be raising but this kid will be all about materialism....and I would like to see her dress this kid like this forever!

P.S. they are not rich by any means......she just has a lot of brand name stuff......some fake, maybe a few that are real.....
but that's all she does is pimp herself out and pimps her baby out now......
