Pregnancy & Parenting - 25 September 2006

My daughter is a bit over 2 y/o and she is in the midst of potty training. Anytime she gets the chance (I also have a 4y/o and a 1 y/o that can side tract me from her) she will potty in her potty chair and play with her excriments. Can anyone help me break her of this?

I had my last period 9/8 , and I had pink spotting after gentle intercourse on 9/22.Today at work I started spotting again it was reddish-pinkish spotting? Isn't it too early for AF to come again? Why am I spotting like this? I didn't have sex last night or today, so why am I spotting? My cycle length is 31-34 days. Any one experience this? Any information will be greatly appreciated!!

Just wondered if anyone else out there totally didnt bond with their baby after birth?

I had my daughter 4 years ago and I now love her more than life, but after I gave birth, I rejected her for almost 10 weeks. I just wasnt interested in her. I didnt want to pick her up, I told the midwife to take her back to the hospital, she seemed as important to me as a cold bowl of soup.

I just toally detatched from her.

Im just curious really as to how other people dealt with it. I know its normal and lots of women go through it, its so annoying to go through it especially people who kept saying 'once the baby is born you fall in love with it straight away'. Its just not always true, and I still now after 4 years feel terrible guilt about it.

How do you feel about it now?

I am 7 weeks pregnant and the first time i will see my OBGYN will be at 11 weeks and i'm worried . I live in a small town and seeing a doctor sometimes takes a long time , but i am worried. i would like to see a doctor sooner , i always have seen a doctor at 8 weeks or sooner with my first 2 children. Do you guys think it's a problem to wait til 11 weeks ?

My son wears undies during the day, but at night, i put a goodnights diaper on him, (he just turned 3) My son has always been a big child he was a 10 pounder at birth and how he's 55 lbs and 43 inches tall ( he's not chunky, but quite built for his age. and his night time diaper is getting way to tight on him, any one know what store sells diapers for Larger children

I'm a single Dad with 2 daughters (age 2 and 5 yrs old). I make decent money but It's getting very difficult to pay for daycare for my youngest and after school care for my oldest. I receive no assistance from their mother and I can't take her to court because she has nothing anyway. Does anybody know of any grants or programs I might beable to apply for to help pay for the childcare? Childcare + Rent + food + car payment + clothing, I don't know if I can make it. I had a miscarriage on the 31st of Aug, but now I feel like I am pregnant all over again. The doctor made sure that my level was down to 0 so i'm sure the hormone was gone. Now I feel crampy, nausea, tired, restless, and acid reflux. I did a test on 9/22 negative and one today negative. When should I test then if I feel I am still pregnant? I have no idea when missed period would be.

I am 25 years old, my wife is 23. My wife and I have been together for 5 years and married for 2 years.

We plan to have our first child next year when I am almost 27 and she is 24 years old.

When people find out our ages they seem to make a lot of comments about statistics and how we will end up divorced.

I really don’t feel we are too young to be married or be parents.

We own a house, have completed college, and have careers.

We are happy together and very committed to one another.

I honestly believe we will never divorce, but I feel like people hope young love fails.

I guess I am feeling discouraged!
