there are certian sets of circumstances that would make it either necessary or ''the right thing to do '' but when women use it as a means of birth control or do it to hide the shame of there irrreponsible actions then yes it is very wrong in my opinion ........

I am in full agreement with you............there is no excuse for abortion. I realize there are those who would justify this in the case of rape or incest or when the mother is in danger. However, I believe that these little ones are a gift from God and should be allowed to live..........there are so many out there who could adopt and would if there weren't so many babies aborted. I know in many cases the mother is not able to care for a baby but there are other alternatives. These children have no say in the matter so it's up to the ones in charge to use some common sense. Too often this is not the case I'm sad to say. Glad to know there are others out there who feel as I do.

I believe in abortion, there is a decision either have it or don't have it... Right now it is allowed. I believe that if it was circumstantial they will take it away completely... It is a woman's right to choose... And besides those who do protest make it clear when you walk into the clinic I know i did it.. And if it wasn't for of how I got pregnant I wouldn't have done it. And now I want a child more then ever... But I don't regret the decision I made. One I couldn't provide for the child two the father was a child molester and three he was a family to my adoptive parents. And besides if you take away the decision of abortion do you realize how many teen suicides will occur. I'm just stating my opinion...

I don't believe in it either. It's ending a child's life no matter how small they are. A fetus has a heartbeat from conception and nobody can logically say abortion is not murder. Once the abortion is performed--that heartbeat stops. I don't know what some of these people's definition of "killing" is, but when a heart stops beating that's killing to me.

I believe the only way abortion should ever be allowed or legal is if there is definite danger to one or both the mother or baby. Other wise the person should have to have it, and if they don't want it give it up, they don't even have to go through the adoption process if they don't want to. Just drop it at a safehaven, no questions asked. People who have abortions just because should be punished in the legal system just like any other murderer.

I believe it is a personal choice. If God is so great, why are people so afraid of death? I have never heard of God giving the power of judgment to the people. Who knows- maybe the woman who has had an abortion will be dammed to hell. And maybe the outstanding christian will become fertile compost or a frog. Make your choices a reflection of what you believe, but give others the right to make their choices in reflection of their beliefs. And remember almost 80% of Americans claim to be christians, yet over 40% of American women have had the procedure- Chances are you are judging your mother, relative, or friends. Sex education and safe alternatives to pregnancy are effective. And just like with prohibition, making it illegal does not solve the "problem".

I do not believe in abortion. If two people get together and have sex and a baby is made then that is it. There are plenty of people out there who would love to adopt a baby. The child that is concieved did nothing wrong and does not deserve to die. They deserve to live a life just like us.

I'm very conflicted over this issue. On the one hand, I agree that it is taking a life. It should never be used as a form of birth control. However, I work in mental health and social services. If you have ever seen a 14-year-old girl pregnant by her father, or the victim of rape, I think you might be more compassionate about the need for it in special circumstances. Would you want your daughter to give birth to a rapist's child? Or her daddy's baby?

You are entitled to your opinion, but why ask if you already think they are wrong? All your looking for is an argument if you believe that it is "killing babies" then don't ask what others think.

Think however you want, but until you have been in the situation you'll never know what it feels like to be faced with such a scary decision.

I do not think it is a good thing. There may be certain situations where people believe they need one like rape victims. But everyones beliefes are different.

FOR THE ONES WHO THINK IT IS OK:

Check out this story it is about a baby at about 20 weeks:

http://www.bible.ca/s-Abortion.htm#hands

also a babys brain starts developing at 10 weeks and is considered no longer "cells" after this.

I think abortions are so wrong because it's like your not even giving a person a chance at life. i also think at it like this you could have just killed the person who had the cure for aids or the next president who could have made world peace.
