Yes. There are lots of reasons, but one of the most prevalant is the taking of an antihistamine during or just after pregnancy.

Yes you can go through the entire pregnancy with out making milk. And anyways you don't produce milk while pregnant...it is called collestrum and you may have it and you may not. Your milk doesn't come in unti la few days after you've had the baby.

well we produce colostrum during pregnancy, the milk doesnt actually come for a few days later, so for the first day or two the baby actually feeds on the clear stuff first (collustrum) which is just as nutricious as the milk.
i was worrying about it to when i gave birth to my first son last december the midwife assured me its natural and nothing to worry about.
i am 8 months pregnant with my second ( i know didnt take long to get pregnant) and i am already leaking the clear stuff, its wierd but its how our body works i guess..

It is not uncommon for pregnant women to leak colostrum before their baby is born. Not everyone experiences this, however. Breast milk does not "come in" until 3-4 days after the baby is born. I have had 4 babies and did not leak any colostrum before they were born.

well yes. The production of milk is started when the children are born and the placenta in removed. upon this the body allows for colostrum to be relesed and breast milk to start it production. some women who have had children close together tend to start milk production earlier.

milk comes into ur breasts when the baby is born, usually.. sometimes ur breasts will leak beforehand though. i didnt get my milk in for 3 days after my son was born.. he was eating colostrum (this thick yellow stuff before your milk is in) babies dont usually eat alot when they are first born anyway.. they do poop alot though.. haha. watch out though, you'll know when you're getting your milk in, your breasts will get really swollen and blow up.. at least mine did - i was in the c's and i went up a size.. so yea..
