I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I am 37 weeks pregnant. The highest my sugar level has been is 155. Is this something I should worry about,or should I be fine? Is it something to call ER over?

I was reading in a pregnancy forum and it said that if you & your partner had hair when you were born, that your child probably would too. But if you had hair and your partner didnt, or vice versa, your baby probably would have just a tiny amount, is there any truth to this?

I heard that you can tell how much your child will probably weigh when it's born by how much you & your partner weighed.. well I was 8lbs. 3.5oz & 22 1/2in long. and my husband was 6lbs and something, so if thats true about how much would my child weigh?

my son is 12 months old and i want to start giving him a pillow to sleep on,as he will put his head on a teddy or blanket and go to sleep on it.i know you can give baby quilts at 1yr but dunno about pillows or if it can cause cot death at this age?

I need help. Ok my last period was August 15, 2006 and stead until August 21, 2006. I always have my period for about 7days most the time, and I count it from the last day of my period which I expected to get it in September 23 or 24 I am just so scared I don’t know why, I had sex but we used condom. My neighbor just informed me that her daughter still gets he breast. This child is WAY over weight. I wonder why. Is this something that is illeagel? GROSS OUT! She is so big she wears a fat bra. She is old enough to be on the soccer team at her school.

I am waiting on the results of my serum test next week and I cant help but notice that I am sooooo freaking emotional. Commericals make me cry?? I suck, huh?? I am also sooooo bloated as if my period is coming, but this WOULD be the week it is normally here so maybe thats what it is?? I dont know, I just know that the gas is HORRIBLE!! TMI, sorry:-(. My 2 year old son has been sleeping through the night since he was 8 months old. From around 8-9 until 5-6. Recently he has started waking up in the middle of the night and wanting mommy(me). I go get him and snuggle with him, but all he ends up doing is tossing and turning, so neither of us is getting any sleep. I've tried no naps during the day hoping to tire him out, not working. Any ideas or helpful hints would be nice.

I just found out my girl friend is pregnant and I don't want her to have the baby. She said she didn't want to have it either as I already have a child who is seven to care for and I just cannot support another right now. She still lives with her parents and doesn't want to get in trouble for being pregnant or having sex with an adult. Where can we buy the morning after pill or where can we go for an abortion? my ex-boyfriend is about to have a baby and it's making me feel very jealous because i was the one planning to have a baby with him just not now we are both 20 yrs but he wanted to have it a.s.a.p. so he left me and found himself anohter girl or should i say his prior girlfriend before me to inpreganate and now the baby is only weeks away. he is now in a realtionship with her becuse of the baby. i never planned to have a baby this young so i asked him to wait for me to finish college and start my career ( i plan to be a police officer) but he didn't now i feel like maybe i made a mistake and am missing out. it really has hurt my self-esteem becuse now i have that feeling of wanting a baby and becoming a mom. i just want to know what people out there think about this?

He usually does it when he is hungry or sleepy. We have been working with him on sitting up. Could this be his muscles strenghtening or could it be something more serious? Has anyone seen this in their own children?

Every few months or so my son (now 10) has a strange episode where he'll suddenly get a bad headache, go white as a sheet and cold and clammy, then throw up a couple of times. Then he'll fall asleep for a while and be back to normal when he wakes up.

This has been happening for at least the last five years, and I have spoken to doctors, who are not concerned. But I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this with their child?
