My fiancee and I are having a hard time agreieng on a name also. Mine are too "unusual" and his are too common. What we have done is gone to a baby name website and made our own lists and then compared our lists to the others and made one lists of names that we both like and agree upon. Of course it has only worked for our boy name(he "knows" it's a boy and refuses to come up with a girl name). But this might help because you'll see that you agree on more names than you'd really think since you are doing it seperately and not throwing names out at each other.

How about you make a deal that if the baby is a boy you choose the first name and she chooses the middle name and if it is a girl then vice versa.
Goodluck
p.s.
Have a few different names because sometimes the baby just doesnt look like your first choice. I had three (first) names picked and when my son was born, the whole family looked at him and chose the name that best suited him.

If your having a boy or a girl go with a name she picks and a name you pick! One can be the middle name and the other his first name!! But go with what sounds better with your last name an how the first and middle name would sound like for instance "James Louis or Louis James" which way sounds batter to you? As for a girl the same way "Jennifer Rose or Rose Jennifer" Good Luck and Congratulations!!

I think all her boy names are horrible especially Gracen cause truth it looks girly. Elliot I actually like on a girl and think Ellie would be a cute nickname. maybe Edie or Eden instead? maybe that a name you both could agree on. Becca is prettier then Rebecca is my mind but Bailey reminds me of dogs and Liquor. Theo I like, Jace sounds like some a teen mom or dad on mtv would pick and Thatcher is a bit strange for even me. How about Evander?

Take both your full name as well as hers and see what names you can make from the letters of your names. It helps and also comes up with names that you may have otherwise not came across. Good luck.

Try to combine the two of your names together if it sounds horrible, let her by all means do the first name and you the middle. I think that its your best bet. Its either that or sleeping alone for a couple of days.

If it's a boy and you plan on having more children with her somewhere down the line- then you should pick 1st for boy and middle for girl and she gets 1st for girl and middle for boy... then next time you flip it!

In my opinion, you should have NO say in the matter - because you were not man enough to marry her.
And legally, she doesn't need your consent or opinion of what to name the baby.
