Yes! don't let your babies father walk away. You could end up paying everything for years without help. Its not fair to your child. make him help, go to court.

Hmmm this is a hard one for me. I believe that the male should have equal rights when it comes to an unplanned pregnancy. If he doesn't want the child and the girl purposely or "accidently" got pregnant because the birth control method didn't work (lol) if he chooses not to be a part of the child life he should be able to legally terminate his parental rights No if ands or buts! I have a situation with a relative who who a one night stand and the female is now pregnant and swearing that it's his. Of course! Not that she hasn't slept around but anyway he doesn't want the child becuase they had no relationship to even start on let alone build on but HE has no options. The girl will use this child as ammunition for the rest of HIS life. Not right. So child support is necessary under MOST circumstances NOT all.

yes, you will need to have the money to help raise your child. Not one guy I know pays when they are supposed to if they are not put on child support. I would do it and do it now, this way if you need something for your child you will have that money to depend on.

Hey there, you will need to apply to the court for child support, and when the baby is born they will do a paternity test for dad and baby to prove it is his baby(as he will most likely deny it). He will then be court ordered to pay! If he doesn't pat he can do to jail.

YES! He still needs to support his child. If you get welfare they will ask you who the father is and they will go after him, because they will make him re-pay whatever they give you.
