No, these have nothing to do with the size of your baby. Your nutrition & how much vitamins, etc are what determines the size of your babyl; not how much you weighed.

That's not true. It's an old wives's tale (as they used to say).
Medical people can usually predict these thing with scans and how the baby is lying in the womb. Things like smoking will cause a baby to be born underweight as nit gets less oxygen from the mother (due tom her hemoglobin being saturated by carbon-dioxide instead of oxygen), a poor diet caused under weight babies.
This day and age, with the increased knowledge in nutrition and the harmful effects of smoking, drinking and harmful environments, babies should be born healthier, heavier and fitter than ever.

There is no correlation. I'm not sure there is any correlation between a young child's height and their adult height. My brother and my uncle were both the shortest boys in their kindergarten class BY A LOT, but they were the same height when each was 5. As adults, my bro is 5'10" and my uncle is 6'8". My cousin, who measured about 1 inch taller than either at 5, is 5'4".

Not so!! My sister and her boyfriend where small babies when they were born and their 2 boys were 11 Lbs and 10 Lbs at birth!! My husband was 8 Lbs when he was born and I was 9 Lbs at birth! Our 2 girls were 9 Lbs and 11 Lbs when they were born! So I don't think you baby would weigh the same as you guys! It has to do with that gestational diabetes during pregnancy!

It really depends on the gender of the child (boys usually weigh more) and how early or late the child is born. Also, if you smoke the baby will weigh less.

I'm not sure. I think it has to do with how healthy you are while pregnant. I was a diabetic, and my son was a preemie but they said the way he was growing before birth he would have been up over 9 pounds if he had been full-term, and my husband was just over 7 pounds and I was just over 8 pounds when born.

This is not in any way fool proof but you can plan that your childs weight will fall in between your weights. My hubby was 7 pounds 3 oz. and i was 9 pounds....our boys weighed 8.14, 7.8, 9.2 and 7.4 but you could have a 5 pounder or a 10 pounder and thats normal...dont concentrate on how big baby will be you can get him out..fat squishes. If its any help my 7.8 pounder hurt the most.

There is not a simple correlation between your weight and your son's weight at birth. But you will be as heavy as never you were in your life, for sure. That's why pregnance was also called "gravidity", from "graves" (Latin: heavy, massive);...
