I had sex and the condom broke. He ejaculated inside me. I started my period a week later as normal like I was suppost to and it was normal but could I still be pregnate? Im not suppost to start for another two weeks so I was wondering what my chances are. Thank you

We are trying for a second baby. I've heard that with 28 day cycles you should start trying around day 10, so would it make sense that for a 26 cycle you'd start around day 8? I feel that the cervical mucus is right, but ovulation predictor says to wait two more days.

i ovulated on the 13th of sept. had sex a couple of days before and after.i have been getting cramps but they come and go.a week before i get my period i usually have them all week.or the day of my period. just wondering if i could be pregnant or just getting my period . my period is in 8 days any helpful answers ?

I recently took out a protective order against my husband. However, I'm due to go into labor with our daughter any day. I have no fear of him harming me or the baby while we are in the hospital. Should I call him when I go into labor? Or after I have the baby? Or should I just send him a birth announcement along with everyone else?

Why does today's society portray full-time mothers as lazy, ditzy, irresponsible, influenced women? In a society that claims to shun stereotypes, shouldn't we shun this one? Why cant full-time mothers be portrayed as wise, responsible, influencial, role-models for tomorrows women?

I was given nitrous oxide for about one hour and x-rays were taken of my teeth at the dentist a few days before I found out that I was pregnant. Will the baby be OK? I've read that nitrous oxide causes birth defects.

I read this article in Parenting magazine today. If you don't want to read this whole article, it is discussing spanking and the debate between "experts" and parents who spank. One point that is made in the article is about what exactly "spanking" is. It points out that according to Websters dictionary, spanking is basically using an open hand to hit on the butt. One thing that is said in this article is that there is no hardcore, scientific proof that an occasional spanking causes any emotional damage to a child later in life. This article is the first one that I have seen that doesn't just flat out tell parents that they shouldn't spank cause they will screw up their kids for life. It actually even says that their is no scientific study that proves that children who were spanked occasionaly turned out more violent later in life. Any opinions on this article?

Are there any ladies out there that are prego or have children who started to get menstrual feeling cramps about a week before your period and found out you were actually pregnant?? I am due around the 24th and I been getting cramping like I am going to start my period but I know I can't yet. Any one get this too and found out it was pregnancy?? Thanks!!

someone help me.....I am fighting to quit smoking. It is the worse feeling in the world. As of my ultrasound last night I was told that the baby is ok and growing wonderful. Perfect size for 8 weeks. But I would like to know if anyone has smoked and NOT succesfully quit. I am worried. I dont want to continue but this is hard. I feel like my stress would go through the roof without it. Whats worse durring pregnancy high stress or cigarettes? I dont know what to do.

i have a good friend who was raped she became pregnant
she was so freaked out and asked me what to do she thought of getting an abortion im aginst that for me but i dont think it would be fair to put my belifes on her so i told her that anything she decided i would support her because it wasnt my decision to make she and i are both adopted i prayed so hard for that baby and her a mutual friend of ours knew of a couple who wanted to adopt a child and she told my friend so she continued the pregnancy iwhen she told me about her decision i thought i was going to dance i was so happy but i never let on was i supportive enough ?

This is WAY too much information but I need to know. I'm leaking clear fluid..from down there. Like I can't see it, that's how clear it is but I can feel it. I mean it's not a lot but I'd still like to know, is this normal?!

i am a first time mom and i live with my baby daddy and his parents. some times i feel like his mother doesn't think i can take care of my own child. i know she is trying to help and this is her 1st grandchild but i feel offended when she is like are you sure she's hungry when she cries or when she is bundled up already when we have the air on she gives hints that she needs a hat and socks on. i dont want to over heat her and i pretty much know her cries. am i wrong and overreacting when i get upset and feel stupid
