We are trying for a second baby. I've heard that with 28 day cycles you should start trying around day 10, so would it make sense that for a 26 cycle you'd start around day 8? I feel that the cervical mucus is right, but ovulation predictor says to wait two more days.

I'd probably wait the additional two days. However - from own experience I would recommend to have intercourse the 4-6 days around the predicted ovulation day. Good Luck.

On a 26 day cycle...you can expect to ovulate around day 13. So for optimum effort, start at day 8. Good Luck!

I would also start having sex either every other or every day starting on day 8. You can do basal body temping abd this will help you pinpoint ovulation...Ovulation prediction kits do not tell you when and if you actually ovulate, they just tell you you are having an LH surge and "could" o in the bext 3 days.

Don't bother stressing out or worrying about the guessing game. Buy an ovulation test kit from the drugstore or grocery store. They are usually in the same aisle as tampons and maxi pads. Stress can also negatively effect your chances of becoming pregnant. Best Wishes!
