Do you have a campaign manager? They help you with managing your things, plans, ideas, etc. I was a campaign manager for my friend.. who won! But anyway...

First, think of the new ideas you are going to bring to the school if you are voted for president. What changes will you make? What will you do to improve things that kids want changed? Be creative with your ideas... do what you think will help.

Brainstorm ideas for your speech if you have one. Have your campaign manager help you. Humor is, a lot of the times, key in a good speech, especially for a kid/pre-teen/teenager audiance. Be sure to include what you're going to do in your speech. Compare what is currently being done with what YOU will do. Start with a catchy beginning and end it with something that makes the audience remember your speech. If allowed, use props in any demonstrations that you might do during your speech.

If you're as popular as you say you are, then that, some ways, is good, for the more people that know about you, the more chances you'll have of them voting for you. If you get in fights with some of the kids, then just try your best to tell them to stop without having to get in trouble for it. Ignore them if you can. Tell a teacher about it. If you get in trouble a lot because of these fights and other things unmentioned, then you best stop because having a bad reputation does not help you win an election for student council... especially for president.

If you're running for president, you better have high grades and the smarts too. You must do more work and spend extra time on things than many others. You will have numerous responsibilities to take care of.

When advertising for a campaign with a poster or a board, fill the whole thing up and leave no space showing. Put all your ideas down. Color it and make it so that it has many colors or something that makes people stop in their tracks just to take the time to look and read it.

More on speeches:
You might want to create a couple speeches or more than one in case of other times you need to make a speech during the election or if you don't like the one you are doing already. Repeating the same speech that you have already said is absolutely not good, usually. People don't want to hear something that's been said before...

Check all your work just like you'd do in English class: punctuation, grammar, spelling, word usage, reapeating words like, "good," "bad," then," nice," etc.

Show your presentation to others, like your family, friends, teachers (maybe, depends...), neighbors, etc before you do it for real at school to get opinions, suggestiongs, and comments on what you could do better.

I hope all ends well! ;)

First, try paying attention in English class--your spelling is dreadful.
Anyway, I think you should run. I mean, honestly, what's stopping you? You can do it! I know just what you mean; I'm a freshman, and I just moved here to Ohio last year to a new school. I did pretty well, so this year, I decided to run for class president. With lots of support from my friends, I won the race with over 2/3rds of the votes! Here are some tips I used that turned out to be very useful:
1. If you're going to campaign, make flyers, not posters; Posters get shredded and sabatoged, and with flyers, for every one someone shreds, you've got two more to give out. Candy is great to give out, too.
2. With speeches: It doesn't matter what you say in your speech, as long as it makes sense, gets the audience's atention, and that you sound clear and determined. Confidence is the key!
3. STOP FIGHTING. To get people to vote for you, be nice to them. Be nice to everyone. EVERYONE!
4. Don't worry if everyone doesn't vote for you, because at least you ran, and it takes guts to run for office!
There's more, but I can't remember it off the top of my head. Good luck with the election! I know you can do it!

In order to be on studen council you have to posess certain factors that you obviously don't have, one of them is proper spelling. Whether you like it or not you spelling says alot about you and if it were MY school council I wouldn't want you on it, because you are representing the students and as a student I would not want someone of limited intelligence representing me.

I was president of my grade school and junior high. I was also only attending each school for one year prior to winning. One good way to do speeches is to find out what they hate about the school (i.e. lunch, festivals). I promised to give them one day of better options (pizza or nacho Friday). For my campaign I made buttons that said vote for me. Good Luck!
