why does it take so many sperm to reach the egg? Do they get killed on the way there? If so by what? whats the chances sperm that has been rinsed in water, towel dried , and touched oxygen. be able to survive the way to the egg?

IOW. in other words.

Do sperm just flow to the egg with no obstacles? if so by what?

and...

Whats the chances of sperm that has been through water , towel drying and oxygen (total about 2-5 minutes) have the ability to swim at its full ability?

ok...well I know that you massage the other persons tongue or whatever, but when you go in for a kiss do you go in like a normal kiss or do you go in wiht your mouth open? Ok...Well my dad didnt want me on myspace and he is fighting in Iraq, and I cancelled my profile for a while but then I got back on. I didnt think it was a big deal then yesterday he called and asked out of nowhere if I have been on myspace. I lied and told him no. Eventually the phone call ended and I began to cry because my dad is truely my best friend and I love him more than anything but I didnt want to get in trouble so I lied. Next I went online and e-mailed him saying that I have been on myspace. I have been crying and freaking out because i want him to still trust me. He e-mailed me back this morning and told me he would call or be on yahoo messenger. What am I soppose to tell him? Would you still Trust me after this? And do you think he will make me get rid of it again?

I've read somewhere that they may contain listeria? Is that packaged lunch meats or deli meat? I have sandwhich's made all the time at deli's, usually turkey. I'm 25wks and just read this in a pregnancy book. What does everyone else eat for lunch then? I don't like hot lunch meats either, like they said to heat up the meat......yuck!!!!!!

This is a question I have often wondered looking back on my childhood because I, being an only child, was both spoiled and sheltered to a ridiculous ammount until my mid to late teens when my parents decided it wasn't working out very well. To that end, I opine that leaning more toward having children learn from their own mistakes is better, but am curious to see what others think on the subject.
