Ok...Well my dad didnt want me on myspace and he is fighting in Iraq, and I cancelled my profile for a while but then I got back on. I didnt think it was a big deal then yesterday he called and asked out of nowhere if I have been on myspace. I lied and told him no. Eventually the phone call ended and I began to cry because my dad is truely my best friend and I love him more than anything but I didnt want to get in trouble so I lied. Next I went online and e-mailed him saying that I have been on myspace. I have been crying and freaking out because i want him to still trust me. He e-mailed me back this morning and told me he would call or be on yahoo messenger. What am I soppose to tell him? Would you still Trust me after this? And do you think he will make me get rid of it again?

You just truly apologize from the heart, and tell him that you will earn his trust back. Then do just that...earn it back.

you lied but you came clean. No I don't think he will let you back on for several reasons. You are a good daughter and he won't be mad if you come all the way clean. Tell your dad how fun or whatever you like about myspace and he might let you back on. Your dad just want to make sure you are mature enough to handle that site. You are mature if you can answer his questions no matter what he ask you truthfully.

Your father just wants to protect you. He can't be there to watch over you right now and he worries. There a plenty of not nice people on myspace and he's worried that they may try to contact you.
You could try talking to your father and seeing if he will agree to let you put your profile as friend viewable only. Have your mom and dad make a myspace and friend you. That way they can see who your friends are. Have all your friends that want to friend you send a myspace mail to your parents friending them and explaining who they are and how they know you.

Listen there is a reason why your dad does not want you on my space. So follow his rules as if he were here with you in the states. You are taking advantage of his being away. And when he calls if he tells you again to get rid of it do and this time stay off. If you love him and really feel that bad for being so deceitful this should not be a problem.

always tell the truth. If you tell 1 lie thenn you have to tell another then another and eventually get caught. once your trust is gone its very hard to get back. my step daughter has lied so much i will never be able to trust her again. are you on your space doing things a teenager isnt supose to be doing ? he will find out parents always do maybe not that day not that week but believe me we are alot smarter then you.

You tell him wha happend and I can tell you right now if you if you tell him the truth then you will be in less trouble then what you are now and I can tell you a nother web site that you can go on for teens.
Go to WWW.YAHOOCHAT.com and make a profile and then go to teen and pick what room you want. He should not get mad at that.

well i think he will be very proud that you told him and my mom told me she didnt want me on it so yeah i think he will make you get rid of it but you have to balance it out which is more important to you myspace or you fathers love and friendship?
