i have miscarried 4 times. the furthest on i was has been 13 weeks. each time it just came away naturally but one time i had to go for a d and c (get put to sleep and clean out your womb). keep your chin up,things will be okay. why can`t you talk to anyone close to you. you might need their support. if you feel you can`t,you can email me if you need some one to talk to. take care.xx

I've had 5 miscarriages, only once did I need to go into hospital for a D&C, all the other cleared themselves out naturally. You should be sent for a scan though to make sure everything is cleared out. It'll take a while for your hormones to settle down again but other than that you should be fine (physically anyway)

Sorry about the miscarriage

At only 10 weeks at miscarriage should happen naturally. You'll pass the foetus but it will so small you won't really notice it. From your point of view it will feel like you're having a particularly heavy period with some cramping.

I'm sorry you have to go through this. I hope you have somebody there who can support you.

you must go to the hospital and have a procedure called a d&c.
its purposeis tomake sure your womb is empty and reduce infection. i had one 19 years ago when i miscarried my first at 14 weeks and theres nothing to it. i know it doesnt help but the miscarriage was a blessing in disguise. after the procedure try again for yourbaby and you'll find you fall pregnant in next to no time good luck

So sorry you are going through this.

Hopefully you will have a complete miscarriage as I did, therefore you will not need a D & C. The only way to tell is to go the hospital and they will scan you to check that it is complete. I had a m/c at 10 weeks myself and had to keep the sac as they needed to examine it and try to find out why it happened. Please phone or see your doctor as she/he will be able to advise you better.

To the above poster what does the Bible say about miscarraige?

You need to see your midwife. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks but was being monitored you may need a D and C. is there anything specific that you are worried about.

Call you doctor to schedule an appointment to make sure that everything looks ok. You may need to have a D&C done.

You should go to hospital for a D&C, that makes sure everything is out. Phone your doctor or NHS Direct for a clearer answer. {HUG}
