How about you adopt a boy. Give a poor child who has no one a shot in life and still have your boy you want. Why bring another one into this world when there are so many stuck here with no family?

Yes, you can get pregnant. There is a birth control method called LAM (Lactional Amenhorrhea Method), which has 3 basic criteria: You must be less than 6 months post-partum, exclusively breastfeeding on demand AND have not had a period yet. For women who meet all three criteria, the odds of pregnancy (during the whole 6 months) is about 1%. Since you had a period in December, LAM is not applicable for you, and you can assume yourself to be fertile again. (Most women don't get a period during the early months of breastfeeding, but a few are unlucky and start up again early.) Having said all that, let me add a caveat -- It's quite common for a woman to have what appears to be a period at around 6 weeks post-partum, and then get nothing more for many months. LAM criteria does assume that any bleeding before 56 days post-partum is lochia, so that bleed wouldn't count. I'd say it's quite unlikely that you're pregnant, but by all means do a test just to be sure. You might also want to re-evaluate your condom use. Condoms have to meet stringent quality control measures, and if you had two breakages in a short period of time, you may be doing something wrong. (Using vaseline as lubricant? Not leaving space for ejaculate? Storing them incorrectly or using an old package?)

There is only a 1-2% chance of your wife getting pregnant while breastfeeding during the first 6 months, same as with the Pill, IF she is only breastfeeding and not supplementing the feedings with formula (having twins ensures she's feeding often enough, but it's recommended to not go more than 4 hours between feedings)
Also, IF she hasn't had any bleeding, anything like a period, since delivering and passing the period of Lochia- bleeding that cleanses after birth, lasts anywhere from 2 - 6 weeks.
And, IF the babies are less than 6 months old.
If she wants to continue breastfeeding and start taking birth control pills, pills with low estrogen levels seems to be better and won't cause her milk supply to slow. Something she'll have to talk over with her doctor. If you, for religious reasons, are against unnatural forms of birth control, look into natural family planning.

Because of the age she is its a risk in childbirth, shes had twins and other kids as your said! so i personly think adoption is a good thing for you, give a child a hit at life! if you dont want to have an other baby then she can allways get a implant or go on the pill, a implant is like an injection and stops you haveing kids for up to 3 years, and theres anotuehr implant with is like a little white stick they put in her arm to stop her for 3 years aswell, the second one can be taken out at anytime if you wish to have anouther, witch i personly dont advise! they both work and the pill is also somthing elce, i would say a comdom, but you are married and that dose not work all the time

Wow, I am really not at all sure what you are asking, or trying to say, but I did get the fact that you have an awful lot of children.
If you're trying to avoid having more, go get yourself fixed. It's quite easy and pretty much painless other than a small needle to numb you up.
Good luck, something tells me you will need it :)
Oh, and PS... you may want to invest in Kotex stock, you'll be upping their sales dramatically in 10 years or so :)

ok first let me address lorgurus. if he gets circumsized that doesnt help with his problem. he needs a vasectomy. circumsized and a vasectomy are two completely different things.
now. i do understand what you are trying to ask. and yes it is quite possible to get your wife pregnant. she seems very apt to doing so. but i do NOT suggest sterilization yet. this is something that needs to be discussed completely between the both of you. for now just use protection.
and if you guys are really upset about no boys then seek out adoption.

Yes, it is possible for her to get pregnant while breast feeding. Also, you're supposed to wait 6 weeks after birth to resume sex. Good luck.

the only thing that is certain to stop her from getting pregnant is if 1 or bothetof you get strilised. other than that using protection is the only other way to help prevent pregnancy but it is not 100% safe

You get an irreversible vasectomy and she gets her tubes tied permanently, like burn off the fallopian tubes or goes to the extreme, and gets a hysterectomy. I say extreme because women need their uterus to help balance their hormones.
