Hello all, I just had my first baby on Septemeber 6th and I am currently breastfeeding. He wakes me up every 1-2 hours to breast feed. Is there anything I can do to help him sleep longer? Thanks, Millie

With my 1st baby labour lasted 3 days. Baby was back to back and spent the whole 3 days buffeting against the base of my spine with each contraction. Satge 2 labour (ie active pushing) lasted over 4 hours until exhaustion kicked in and, realising baby was wedged at the top of the birth canal, they intervened with ventouse and finally forseps. Baby did ALOT of damage when coming out - casuing substantial ripping and blood loss. I'm petrified of a natural birth for number 2!!!!! However, I'll feel I can't do it naturally if I opt for C section. Anyone had a similar experience?? Is the 2nd one easier??

Has anyone ever taken several pregnancy tests well after your period was due, have them all come out negative, and then find out that you were indeed pregnant? If yes, then do you know what caused the consistently negative results (besides testing too early). I have heard of someone testing consistently negative when they were 6-7 weeks pregnant, and finally testing positive when they were 8 weeks pregnant. This person was fanatical about charting temps and ovulation so they definitely did not have their dates messed up. Any similar experiences?

I breastfeed my 3 week old, and she always makes a clicking noise when she eats, kinda like it breaks the suction.

She latches on fine, and my nipples aren't sore.

Hi. I have a 4 month old and he loves his swing. I was curious if I should purchase another one or break him of the swinging habit. He is really really close to being too big. I'm giving birth hopefully on November 30th. I'm 23 yrs old and i would like to go back to school and of course go to work. How long after the birth should i be able to do all that ? and when is the rigth time to leave the baby on day care ???? i'm confused, don't know what to do and have nobody to ask any advice. I heard that if you have a cycle that is longer than 35 days and shorter than 21 then their is a greater likelyhood that your not ovulating. Is that true?? I know it sounds a little juvenille but I'm still a little curious.

occasionally when i feed my 12 day old son and i have to release the latch with my finger my nipple comes out of his mouth purple.. like it was getting the circulation cut off. it doesnt hurt and turns back to its normal color but what could be causing it to turn color to begin with?

Does your tempature rise or fall right before you get your period? If your pregnant what is it suppose to do?If my period is due today is it suppose to rise or fall today? Thursday and friday my temp during the day was around 98.5. My temp today is 99.1. What does that mean?

im ttc but very confused had regular period aug 18 -20th i stoped taking my pills onthe 20th and because of that i started again on the 27th .. based on the 18th i should start my period yesterday ...but nothing.. with that i should have been ovlating last weekend.. but ive heard that when you ovlate you get a discharge ...what is this discharge ? is it clear milkly ? thik or what ? i took a test last week it was neg and i have no signs but yet no period ? please only nice and if you cant be nice please keep it to your self

I am TTC and I was just wondering when does it occur..
I have been pregnant twice before but never had it..
I had sex the day after my period and then about 3 days later I started getting spotting..Not much just a little bit..
Its still doing it..Its been spotting for about 4 days now?
Could this be IB?

since I like to hang the up and not fold them. Its about seven feet tall and six feet wide, it doesnt have any handles as I can reach the top and open it that way. Well lately my kid has been opening it up from the bottom and taking all his clothes out of it and throwing them around his room! He's only months old, is there any type of device I can use or put on it so he cant open the door???
