Your regular mucousy discharge thins and becomes super watery and stringy ie if you could let it drip and it will make a string that won't break this is the quality that makes it easy for the sperm to swim up.

Normally, you should stop taking the pill 2-4 months prior to TTC. That way the pill is no longer in your system, giving an egg the perfect place to thrive. You should also start taking Prenatal vitamins PRIOR to conceiving, your body needs a lot of Folic Acid prior to conceiving...
With that said, if you aren't PG, I would wait another month to two before trying again...
Personally, my discharge is thick and clear...sometimes you feel a little crampy with that..With stopping the pill so fast, you may ovulate later.....
Good luck with TTC!!

The discharge is clear and stringy. You may not be pregnant it could just be the pill is messing with your body. If you are preg. then wait till the week your period should start and take a test. If this doesn't satisfy your need then perhaps you should seek medical attention.

your period could be out of whack because you just came off of birth control...
When I discontinued the patch I was 2 weeks late for my period...
I would wait like 2-4 weeks and if you still haven't gotten your period by then I would take a test..
But in the meantime...I would treat my body as if I was pregnant.. (no drinking, no smoking, etc.) just in case you are..but chances are your period hasn't come becuase you just went off the pill...
I would try to wait til my periods became more normal again before trying..that way you won't be going thru this am I , aren't I stuff..cause that can be VERY stressful..lol
Good Luck..and hey...maybe you are preggo...

pregnancy test are clearer closer to when your period is supposed to be here. . if you take a test 4 days before your period is supposed to come its only 53 percent accurate but if you take it the day before you are supposed to get your period it is 84 percent accurate. SO if you are pregnant you might want to retest. Most likely though the break in your pill is whats causing this. Your hormones are prbably readjusting. Give it time,or retest and ease your mind.

The consistency of the discharge should be similiar to egg whites. It only last a day or two then it goes back to normal. HTH

If you have been on birth control pills it might take some time before you can get pregnant again. It's not a switch that you can turn "on" and "off" again.
