If you are asking for advise before having sex, perhaps you aren't ready. You're young and have your whole life to make these kinds of decisions. I would suggest checking out some websites on reproduction and safety. Also, how well do you know your would-be partner? Has he been tested for stds? Do you understand and are you willing to accept that there will be repercussions, such as physical and emotional changes? Most states have laws where your rights and questions are protected if you want to ask a doctor (if you don't have a family doctor you can go to a clinic). Know what you're getting yourself into and make an educated, safe choice.

please wait. Its worth it. Even though if you use a condom or if your on the pill you can always still get pregnant. Trust me i had alot of friends that had sex their first time, second or third and got pregnant at 14, 15, and 16 years old. Having a baby that young its really hard and being pregnant and having an abortion its not the answer. But if you do it at least make sure you protect your self from getting pregnant and getting a disease.

My first answer to you is to wait. If, however, you don't, discuss birth control methods with your partner. If you don't feel comfortable discussing this with your partner, let it serve as another indication that you are not ready to have sex.

Discuss with your partner about his sexual history and whether he has a negative test result for HIV. Don't take his word for it that he's clean... if he has ever had sex without protection, he could be exposed and if he hasn't been tested, he could be putting you at risk. Once again, if you don't feel comfortable talking about this with your partner, again, you are not ready to have sex.

And after all that, make sure to use a condom. That way you protected yourself from STDs, HIV and pregnancy.

My wish for you is that you wait... you have your whole life to enjoy sex. Having sex just complicates your already complicated life.

Hoping that you will wait...

I am a 17 year old mother. I got pregnant at 16 and had my child at 16. I first had sex when I was 14. Just make sure you are ready and you really love this guy and it isn't just puppy love. Please don't make that mistake! If you do have sex I would get on birth control.

I lost my virginity at a younger age also, and I always wish I would have waited so I could have experienced it when i was more ready. I think you should tell the boy your with you want to wait a month and see how he reacts. If he reacts and starts whining and complaining, you know its not because he wants to share losing his virginity with you, but wants to use you. If he reacts saying he will wait, then wait longer! lol.. if hes willing to wait for you then wait until your older and youll know that having sex with him will be speacial and hes not using you.

I'm 15 don't do it! Everyone I've ever talked to said it wasn't worth it. I think that is glorified by the media, and will suck when you do it. But if you don't listen, be safe.

Dont rush yourself into sex. It is not something you can do it and then take it back! Think carefully to who you want to do with. Is it the right person you are spending your future with?
