I haven't had mine since I deliverd last year in August; anyone out there with an older nursing baby not get her period yet? I'm not worried, am loving it, I'm just wondering how much more time I've got, 'cause recently I've been getting something like PM cramps.

I delivered last July, and I got my first period this June. I was still nursing, but not very often or for very long.

After my first baby, in spite of exclusive breastfeeding, I got my period back after 6 months or so, I think.

I went 13 months without a period while nursing my son, had one period, and was pregnant with my fourth child, then nursed her for 13 months without a period. It's different for everyone, but that was bliss.

With my first child, I nursed exclusively, and I got my first period five months after delivery. With my second, I nursed exclusively, and I got my period nine months later. With both children I nursed 'til 13 months. Hope this helps.

I think this is another one of those "everyone is different" questions. From other responses, sounds like you are just fine!
