I heard that if you have a cycle that is longer than 35 days and shorter than 21 then their is a greater likelyhood that your not ovulating. Is that true?? I know it sounds a little juvenille but I'm still a little curious.

I'm not sure, but I think you picked up half the message, (You're not ovulating/at the "right" time). If you have long cycles you could even be maturing more than one egg at the same time and have something called poly-cystic ovary syndrome.
("Right" time meaning in the middle of your cycle.)

I have never heard of that before! If you want to know if you are ovulating, you'd have to either use ovulation predictors or chart your fertility signs (basal body temp, cervical mucus, cervical position). Try looking up information on natural family planning for more details...

If you are recently off birth control, cycles can be erratic. I went off for 4 months and had cycles as long as 48 days, but the 4th month I ended up pregnant - so I know I must have ovulated!

Yes - you ovulate 14 days before your period starts.
