last month my husband 7 nephew came to live with us after his mother past away. And ever since the little boy been acting out in the worst ways possible, and have a very rude mouth. and my husband dont want to punish him or beat him what should we do

I have a ways to go before I really need to start thinking about this but I have heard so many different points of view from mothers that I know.

My friends tell me "Girl get that epidural"

My mother said the epidural was painful.

My sister said with one child she had just her vaginal area numbed and no epidural and with the second she had the epidural.
For her, the first child was a more painful labor but she didnt feel as much in pain afterwards. With the second, she didnt feel much because of the epidural but said she was in much more pain after it wore off and that the actual process of getting it was a bit painful.

Yet another friend said she went 100% natural with no epidural and no numbing.

Share your experiences here.

It doesn't really matter to me about any moral standpoints on the issue, I really just want first hand experiences and your opinions of what you went through so when it's my turn,I can weigh my options based on my own needs.

and i still havent lost my mucus plug yet!!i mean sometimes when i go to the bathroom i wipe and there is slimy stuff on there and sometimes when i urinate there is a little slimy stuff in the toilet!!is this my mucus plug??

my son is 2 and last night we went out and got him some crayons and every thing was going good then he went to put them in his mouth and started to eat them we told him no and about 2 mins later he did it again so i took them away and hide them. should i give them back or is he still to young for them?

My son is currently teething and has this rash on his chin and face. He also has been diagnosed with ecsema. Is it the rash that is associated with his teething and/or is it ecsema. Also, what can I use to help make the problem go away?

the boat has a cabin and we are going in the bay! 21.5 foot.

and i know i'm gonna get some smart @#!! remark for it, but my brother-in-law has my daughter on his myspace page. we have asked him nicely to either remove it, or make his myspace private so only his friends can see it, just because of all those internet preditors and freeks out there. he won't listen. he says "no, its my myspace. i can do what i want." and the pictures on there are kind of wierd.... he doesnt indicate in the caption that its his niece, so everyone thinks she is his daughter. people come up to us all the time thinking its his. there are all these girls that he doesn't know on his myspace too, so i'm not sure if he is just using it as a way to get women's attention. and the pictures are of him and her, and one of them is him kissing her on the forehead.... and it just looks kind of creepy. he also has had a past of looking up pre-teen porn, and child porn.... if he wants his neice on there, fine. but he could atleast make his profile private. should i do??

I had unprotected sex in a very safe zone, whihc is one was a day before my period came and the other one is a weak later just after my period, and now my period is late by 4 days? I know I can buy the test and do it but very scared if i am.... so what sort of metiod shall I use other than abortion. Like workouts or sometig to teminate the pregnancy?

My daughter has diarrhea and a mild fever. I’ve brought her to doctor and doc said it was probably caused by some virus infection, and since she's active and has mild fever (37.5), nothing much should be worried yet.
she's passed stool 7 times in 14 hours. she told me her tummy was painful just now. I’ve already given her medicine. what more can I do to comfort her? I’m so worried and upset seeing her like this.

I will go to the store and actually have stranger tell me that I have my hands full or they take their finger and count while pointing to each one of my children.I am tired of people telling me that they don't envy me and God bless you , my goodness. I am very delighted to have 4 and one on the way and can proudly say that we had planned every one of them. I have actually had one rude person tell me that I have been a busy women and chuckle or ask me were they planned and I tell them each and every one of them and wouldn't have it any other way. It is not hard to raise 4 kids at all. I am a stay at home mom and I love it and love my kids very very much but, I do get very offended and it hurts my feeling so, how can I tell people that w/out being rude or do I act rude right back? lol!

If all goes well soon to be mother of 5!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!! I am only 4 weeks along and have had 5 miscarriages so that is why I say if all goes well.

We are using a family name (maternal grandparents') as a first name for a girl, 'Kennedy', and are wanting a 2 syllable middle name. We would prefer a name with the accent on the second syllable, but any interesting suggestions would be great - thanks!

I'm 26 and was not a teen mother . . but I'm curious to know . . . why do adults put all of the blame on teenagers when they end up pregnant? . . . true, they SHOULD know that if they have sex, they could get pregnant . . but isn't it the responsibility of the adults to teach them these things, instead of assuming that they already know? . . . what are your thoughts?

i had a urine test done by a doc and it was negetive, i had sex 3 months ago in april 06 was safe sex with condom.i had normal periods but i am missing my aug period.almost 20 days late.can i still be pregnant,even thou urine test was negetive. and doc gave me progesterone tabs to have my periods. i am worried if i am still pregnant i dont want to go thru this now.is urine test 100% acurate for pregnancy.
