I mean, it's not weird in a bad way, but I never thought I'd see something like this. Let me know what you think:

We're looking into trying to have our second child, but the town I'm living in doesn't have a hospital that delivers babies. (Yeah.. it's small.. you have no idea). Is it possible to be induced by request? I was induced the last time I was pregnant, and it went fine. The closest town I'd feel safe having a child in (that has a NICU) is 90 miles away.

I used to take scalding hot showers. I'm pregnant and have cooled the water quite a bit, but my husband says it's still much too hot. Does anyone know what temperture is okay? I use a thermometer and it usually reads between 99 and 105 degrees when I test the shower water. Too hot?

I have three girls so far, and don't get me wrong I'm so grateful for being able to have them. But I really want to experience having boys too. I was just wondering what kinds of experience people have had with having their kids. If there's anyone out there with more than 3 kids that were only able to have just all girls or all boys, or if after having 3 of one gender people were able to have the other gender also. Is it possible that I'll only ever have girls no matter how many kids I have? It doesn't seem to be something that runs in the family. What do you think?

I wont be in to see the doctor till sept 20th.My asthma hasnt been bad really in years, but I since I got pregnant there are times when Ifeel like I need it. So I can either take it or goon and try to ignore that Im having a little trouble breathing. I mean Im not having attacks. just a little difficulty, and normally I would just take my inhaler and be fine. Now I dont know what the best thing to do is, just wondering if anyone has had the same problem.

Is it true that the sicker you are when you're pregnant then the healthier your baby is and will be when they are born? I think I agree with that after seeing proof for it. What do you think?

I watched a movie / documentry the yesterday called "Living Dolls: The Making of a Child Beauty Queen".

It was about these child beauty pagents. And it was almost scary to watch. These 2 year old girls, dressed in gowns with make up and lipstick and eye liner and blush. They didn't look real at all.

The documentry followed this one girl and her mother. The girl was competeing in what would be considered the most prestigious competition in child beauty contests. The girl began crying just before her turn, and her mother grabbed her by the arm and pulled her off the stage. She started shaking her and telling her to stop crying, in a very aggresive way. It was so horrible.

Why do these parents do this? What is the benefit to them and there children? Do you think this is right or wrong?

Take a look at this site if you get a chance:

Look at the girl on the front page. It's actually a REAL living child.

I recently stopped breastfeeding after 6 months. He kinda weaned himself over the past month, so my breast milk went down little by little. I'm finding that whenever someone or something bumps into my boobs that they really really hurt! They don't hurt until someone bumps into them. I'm not at all engorged. I doubt I have mastasis or an infection. Did your breasts hurt after you stopped breastfeeding? If not, any ideas?

I'm at 11 1/2 weeks and have been cramping for a couple of days. Nothing strong, and no bleeding, but I did get really dehydrated last week and had to be admitted to the hospital. Could that have really hurt the baby and cause a miscarriage?

He's now in Kindergarten and still goes potty in his pants. He doesn't do it at school, but, just today, he did it after being home for less than 5 minutes. He's a happy child, but, I think he's just too lazy, or too busy to quit playing to use the potty. Anyone else out there with this problem? I'm tired of washing his clothes everyday. I need help. I'm at my witt's end.... Serious answers only, please. Thanks!

My wife and I have been together for 5 years.

My wife is 23 years old.

She has mentioned to her parents the idea of us having a baby.

Her father was happy, her mother was not.

After a lot of mean comments from her mother, my wife confronted her.

Her mom said she felt my wife had no patience for a child and would “snap” at her children when she was frustrated.

She said my wife would not be a good mother until she has “worked” on herself.

I was stunned because my wife is patient, kind, loving, etc. and is a good wife and “mother” to our dog.

My wife said she is never good enough for her mother.

My wife has a college degree, a house & cars paid off, and a happy life and her mother is still not happy for her.

My wife cut her mother off for 6 months and went to a therapist because of her mother.

We are now seeing her parents twice a month, but they don’t know we are trying to conceive.

How do we deal with her mother when she finds out?

Has anyone take this antidepressant in pregnancy and has anyone had any really bad experiences?

I've been on it for several years and when I found out I was pregnant went straight to my doctor. He told me to continue with my regular dose (40mg) as "the benefits outweighed the risks" to the baby and lots of women apparently take this drug in pregnancy and have healthy babies.

I started reading all sorts of horrible stories about Paroxetine in pregnancy and decided I wanted to come off it, so with my doctor's agreement I started cutting down my dose gradually. However, the withdrawal effects kicked in and I just couldn't cope. so they put me back up to 20 mg daily.

Now I'm really worried for my baby. Both my GP and my Ob/Gyn Consultant are unworried and say the only effects are a chance he might have a reaction after birth and have to stay in SCBU for a few days (and I really don't want that for him! No mother does!) But the internet suggests all sorts of awful effects.
