I have three girls so far, and don't get me wrong I'm so grateful for being able to have them. But I really want to experience having boys too. I was just wondering what kinds of experience people have had with having their kids. If there's anyone out there with more than 3 kids that were only able to have just all girls or all boys, or if after having 3 of one gender people were able to have the other gender also. Is it possible that I'll only ever have girls no matter how many kids I have? It doesn't seem to be something that runs in the family. What do you think?

We had girls our first two times. We asked my OB/GYN how to try for a boy, he told us to get an ovulation test and figure out when my fertile time was, then have sex just one time during my fertile time. I am now the proud mommy of two girls and two boys!

The stronger male sperm are faster, but lose endurance sooner, the weaker female sperm are slower but last longer in endurance, so if your egg is there waiting a male sperm (should) fertilize it! Like I said, it worked twice for us! Good Luck!

Well to start with, it isn't you that determines wether or not you have a girl, it is your husband or boyfriend. He can pass an X or a Y, he just likes passing those X's. Blame it on him. I have known several different families that consisted of 5 boys in one and 6 boys in the other with no girls. So it is possible to get a fourth, fifth even sixth girl. There is no sure way to get a girl besides going to a special fertility clinic and having them doctor the sperm. So you can either try again with your SO or find another SO, although I don't suggest the second option if you are in a happy relationship. Good luck and have fun practicing.

I wouldn't keep trying if I were you unless you want to have a house full of girls like my mom. She has six girls and only one boy!!! My brother is the second youngest. The last child (a girl) was kind of an accident!! And now, I have one girl and I'm expecting another ( don't know the sex yet), my sister has 5 girls, my other sister has one girl, and my other sister is the only one that has a boy!!! It's risky business if you ask me. But you can try if you want, I wouldn't though. Try adopting or something...Good Luck

I'm not an expert...BUT I heard somewhere two thing that might be useful and you may want to look into. I heard that men produce XX sperm from one testicle and XY from the other testicle. I also heard depending on your ovulation cycle you can have boys or girls. If you have sex when you end ovulating you can have boys and if you have sex when you start ovulating you can have girls. I heard this from a women who actually helped detirmine the sex of her children that way. Again I'm not an expert and I'm not 100% sure but definatly look into it if you're serious about having a boy. I'm sure you can talk to a doctor or find a website. Good Luck!

Gender is a man's job. We all start out as female. Ever wonder about the nipple thing on boys? If his chromosomes are not up to the task you could end up with 7 girls before he gets it right. Feelin' lucky?

My Mom had 3 girls then a boy and then me, another girl.

My Dad had 2 girls and then a boy (from another marriage) and then me.

I only have 2 kids and they are both boys. So I really believe it varies. Both of my parents had more girls then boys but I ended up with 2 boys.

Male sperm tend to be weaker than female sperm. They don't survive well in a acidic environment. While female sperms don't survive well in a neutral environment. That is scientific fact. There is an old wives tale that says if you eat very acidic foods when you are ovulating you will have a girl, and if you eat bland foods you will have a boy. There is also a different one that says if you deuch with vinegar after sex it will kill the male sperms and if you deuch with baking soda water it will kill the female. I don't know if this actually works but good luck to you.
