Hi Erica, sounds like things are Really moving along!!! If the discharge is tinted with a slight bloody mucus, the baby is furthur desending. and your probably effacing in the 50/60%. Your water did not break, if it did, or was leaking, you would actually feel like you were peeing yourself..Go ahead and sit in that rocking chair, and rock away, you'll see alittle more discharge, but this is what you want!! Your baby to arrive this weekend!! I'll be praying for a safe delivery. Good luck to you!!

It means that you probably have a week - possibly two left. The mucas plug may never come, but the discharge is normal. I have been pregnant three times, and not once did my water break. Your doctor knows best, and when it is time you will know it. Good luck!

Excess discharge means your plug will soon be comming out. The water doesn't always break right away, sometimes it has to be broken, mine did w/ my 2nd

Keep ur eye on things, wear a pantiliner so you don't ruin ur underwear.

It's normal to have increased cervical discharge late in pregnancy.

If your plug comes out, it will most likely look like blood-tinged snot. It can come out all at once or in pieces. If labor doesn't start, it can regrow about about 48 hours.

If it looks like snot then it's your plug. Mine came out little by little for a couple of weeks. By 36 weeks it was gone. I had the baby at 38 weeks.

depends how far along, and if there is any color in the discharge or if it is watery. Honestly, the best thing to do is get off the computer and call your OB/GYN....they will know better than anyone else on this board...

I had that problem with both of my pregnancies and my docter told me that discharge is common during pregnancy and increased discharge at the end is also common so don't get your hopes up it's nothing!

When your water breaks YOU WILL KNOW IT! If your doctor is not concerned don't you be either. Once your water breaks, you will keep leaking the fluid.

you will def know when your water breaks....its like peeing but you cant control it....you will feel a little warm and wet and when you look down you will be soaked....and then the contractions will come alot harder....you will know...if you want this process to speed up walk around and it should make more break loose....

You'll know when your mucous plug comes out. It sounds like it won't be too long for you now.
