at 8 weeks preg. i found out that i had a miscarrage and i had a d&c July 27-2006. well i spotted just alittle acouple of days after. but not much. but i still have not had a period. when do you think i will start? will it be 28s from then or what?? has anyone else had a d&c and how long befor you had your period.... i mean could i be pregnant agin already?

I'm arguing w/ my step-mom (we work together) about drinking castor oil to induce labor...she thinks it's okay (she did it w/ my step-brother), and I think it could be potentially harmful to the mother and the baby. Anyone out there with REAL information? I would really appreciate some input. Thanks!

How soon after your egg is fertilized, does implantation occur, and would you feel slight sharp cramps in your abdomen? We possibly conceived by insemination on Sunday 8/13- I was taking fertility drugs (clomid & ovidrel) today I am extremely bloated and yesterday I was feeling sharp little cramps in my lower abdomen, on both sides? Is this my mind playing tricks or could this be a sign that we succeeded?

I've been smoking Newports for a long time and I just recently found out i'm pregnant. I won't lie it's very hard for me to kick the habit so i cut down to smoking maybe 2-3 cigarettes a day. Will this cause any major issues with growth of the baby? I do plan on stopping completely but I would just like to know if it can cause any health issues, birth defects, or miscarriage.

I've read enough on the subject. I want to know if you know anyone yourself (child, relative, friend) that has become autistic due to vaccinations. What did the doctor say? Did they have any signs of autism before the vaccination? My daughter is due for her 1 year shots and I'm nervous like I was for the last three rounds. She never got so much as a lump from them....but she has to get some new ones this time (mmr, varicella). Thanks.

I ran into a woman at the store and she had a diaper bag that was beautiful. She said that it was 100% washable and cotton (I think), and that it could be ordered in several different fabrics. She also said that the maker of this diaper bag made women's luggage sets. She said that I could find the bags either on the website or on ebay. Also, I think the brand name is a woman's name, something like LizClaiborne.

It's about five days before I expect my period. My husband and I are trying to have a child. My breast are EXTREMELY sore for the past three or four days. I usually get sore a few days right before my period- but this has come quicker and is much more than usual.

Is this a good sign that I am expecting?

Ok...I'm just over 38 weeks pregnant and just noticed some brownish discharge. Do you think it could be "bloody show?" Is that the same thing as the mucus plug? Could it just be the result of my cervix being checked yesterday? I'm 1.5 cm dialated and 60% effaced. OMG, you guys! I'm so excited....I hope I'll have this baby SOOOOOON!!

I'm 26 & hubby is 31. He just told me last night we need to wait about 2 more years before we try to conceive (after he told me & both our parents last month that we would try this coming March). I started getting excited & so have our parents. The reason he wants to wait is because we are on a major savings plan for a house. He wants to put down a 40% down payment so our payment will be low on a big house. We've been renting a 2 BR apartment that is very small for 4 yrs. It devastated me last night when he said this and I cried a lot. He said that if I force him to get a house & have the baby instead of doing this plan he might regret this & he says I'm not willing to sacrifice & that I'm being selfish. He said he was ready for a house & a baby but wants to continue with this savings plan because it would be better for our future. I am really wanting a baby soon but I guess I'll have to wait! It's hard visiting friends that have houses & kids knowing we have to wait 2 years!!
