Could abortion be murder?

The minute of conception you have created a living being. Killing at anytime during a pregnancy is murder to me. Put the baby up for adoption if you don't want it. There are so many couples who want a child and can not have one. I don't understand why anyone thinks they have the right to kill their baby. I hope you are not concerdering having your mate do this. Pray about it.

I believe it is... it's not like a baby is a growing tumor. A zygote becomes embryo, the embryo becomes a fetus, a fetus becomes a child... aside from the speculations, this 'thing' has life from the very beginning. A tumor is just that, it has blood and grows just for the sake of growing... You can't kill a tumor. You extract it. To kill an embryo per say, is to actually kill Jen, or Bill, George or Anna before they can hire a lawyer and put you away for good, or hold a gun right back at you in self defense. It's only a matter of time. And that's the key to understanding this. A tumor needs to be extracted.. a baby will actually come out naturally. A tumor will never talk back at you in the future, or in actuallity, but a baby... whoa, man!
It's meant to be this way. The mystery is that any human being actually has an identity... to kill them before you can see them doesn't mean we didn't do anything wrong. Below is a link I will give you with more scientific reasons.

Well in the Bible it says murder is killing "illegally" so that is a good question. This subject is very touchy and one for God to judge.
I have read on here however, that "the heart begins to beat at 3 weeks" or one should have it and give it up for adoption after being raped etc... for one there is no heart at 3 weeks and for two, just how many of you have adopted or sent money to help these children that are born and need homes or how many of you help the mom emottionally for she is or did have it?? Most can do the talk but when it comes down to it and if they were in a situation of rape or...just what exactly would they really do. Like I said, it is for God to judge and in the Bible in the ten commandments killing "illegally" is a sin. Now "legally" that is a different story. And...an abortion past the first trimester "is" a formed baby already so I am not so sure that is right to do it that late in the pregnancy but I do not condemn or judge anyone for having one. Only God can do that.

it may be an "inconvenience" to the parent, but that is a mind heart and soul that is developing in the first 18 days and from then on. i was supposed to be aborted , but my father saved my life, from my mother, so iam against any form of abortion.

If you call it the proper thing to do just emagine going into a baby nurserie in the hospital ...BAM somone shootes your Brother or Best freind in the head, and that is basicly what your doing to your child everytime you have an abortion!

The worst part is that form of life, that mind and soul doesn't receive final rights, or a proper burial or cremation.

Abortion is murder! Once a baby is conceived it is life, the world is okay with killing it just because it's easy way to get rid of it and they believe it is fine because up to 14 weeks supposedly a fetus can't feel pain. I am 23 weeks pregnant with twins and having them in my body moving and sucking their thumbs just makes me even more pained about the billions of children murdered every year.

It most defiantly is. As soon as the egg is fertilized with the sperm, life starts. There are alot of people who think that in the early stages of pregnancy that it is just a blob of matter, When in reality it is the start of a new life. I believe it is pre-meditated murder. A woman, regardless of circumstance, should be able to sacrifice 9 months of her life in order to bring a baby into the world for another loving family. With counciling, even the most unwanted pregnancy can be turned into a healing experience that results in a happy ending for mother and baby.
