Apparently some women actually use those....how could you trust a result coming from a test that only cost you a buck?? I think its very worth it to pay a little more money and buy a decent one from a drug store!!

My son has begun to pick his nose lately and eat it. It makes me cringe! ! I have tried to reason with him and tell him to stop but he doesn't listen. I am afraid he is going to get sick from putting dirty fingers in his nose and in his mouth. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I asked this question before. I don't want to know that this isn't the best way to preserve it or that rocks don't need preserved. This is for my child who would break it if it wasn't put in acrylic. If you can't answer, please don't bother. I'll try a new category under parenting. I think parents will understand better than geologists.

For all of you idiots who think a baby isn't living by 16 weeks you should really do your research by 17 weeks baby can suck his thumb swallow amniotic fluid and pass it as urine make practice breathing movements, in a girl the uterus is equipped w/ all the eggs she will have her whole life and its arms and legs are moving you just cant feel it yet she can also grasp her umbilical cord and play w/ it by week 18 the bones of the ear become fully formed so she can hear her retinas have become light sensitive and your baby may be able to detect a glow if you shine bright lights at your belly by week 19 pictures of babies in utero show them touching the membrane of the sac, thouching their own faces if you have twins they are already swatting at each other all of you people make me sick if you can spread your legs then you should take on responsibility as far as i'm concerned you all ARE MURDERERS! and anyone that supports them is a moron I wish all of your mothers would have aborted you.

My mom let me have an open house at my shore house with all my college friends last week. There was alot of girls and guys that showed up that I dident know. My mom know alot of my friends and was just hanging around drinking with us,,, she always does its not a big deal. Later that night I was walking through my back hallway and in one of the bedrooms I saw my mom getting with some guy i dident know. I just saw them like hooking up but ... its my mom! Should i say anything to her about this or just leave it go.. is that a big deal?

what if you drank and did drugs before you found out you were, indeed, pregnant?

if you were only maybe 1 week to 6 weeks? is there a greater chance it has hurt the fetus?

basically, the night before I found out I was...(which was a VERY irresponsible thing to do..even tho I was stressing I had no excuse to do the last thing I did) I smoked some ciggs, drank some hard liquior, and a lil bit of 'yayo' <~(what i regret doing)..

So I'm definitely old enough to have sex, I just wanted to wait for marriage... but .. I made one mistake.. and I did have sex, we did use a condom, and I am aware that they aren't 100 percent protective, that only abstinence is, but.. this happened in the beginning May. It's now August and for the last.. almost month I should say, I've gotten tired, and suddenly I crave chocolate which I hate, or pizza. And onec I'm near it, and smell it, I feel sick. I feel like I'm going to throw up whenever food is around, and barely can eat and keep anything down.. and the other day I was in a store and I walked out with my friend and I was like oh boy, she was wearing waaay too much musk, and my friend looked at my funny and said "um.. I didn't smell anything"... I'm afraid I'm pregnant.. does it sound overly possible? Cuz I've still had my period, but I heard you could have it up to so many months..

So my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for about 1 year. We have recently starting seeing a specialist. He is pretty sure I have Endometriosis. I am scheduled to have surgery next Friday due to this. Strange thing is that this month I had really sore breast about 1 week after ovulation and my veins got darker on my breasts. These symptoms seemed to go away and then I had a little reddish brown discharge in my panties. This happened when I should have been a few days left until I started. I read and different places said this could be implantation bleeding. This made me happy, but then the next day I started my period. I had really bad cramps as I always do. I figured I was not pregnant and went on about my day. That was 4 days ago. Now today I can not stop going to the bathroom and I usually don't go much at all. I know I do have a cyst so that may have something to do with the bleeding if I am pregnant. I have to know before my surgery.

My son is 4. His father and I are divorced but still have a good relationship. I have my son every other week then he's off to his dad's house for a week. So far this has worked but I think it has generated some issues with discipline. My son's father lives with his mother and step dad so "Grandma and Grandpa" are around all the time. My son throws tantrums when he is at my home to the point he will force himself to throw up. He has urinated on his floor right in front of me when asked to try and go potty, he refuses to pick up after himself, he can't seem to do anything on some days, he whines, he refuses to listen to anything except what he wants to hear. (I realize that part is normal.) I have tried everything, time out, spanking (yes, I believe in it), smacked hands, etc... I believe that he has no discipline structure at his other home and this is the cause of part his behavior. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about that. What can I do to make my home a lil more bearable?

i bought a test from the dollar store today and i think i may have got a positive... the control line is very thick and bold but the positive line so soooo skinny and very very VERY light... can that be a false positive or an evaporation line? has anyone else had similar experiences?

(i tested a day early because i believe ive had implantation bleeding.. )

Hi, my friend is throwing a birthday party for her little girl, and I have NO IDEA what little girls play with at age 4 nowadays. The theme of the party is "princesses", if that helps. She is very pink and frilly and very girly. I'm pretty sure she already has all the princess Barbies.

but she's not yet doing the real crawling yet,just fast scoots..we are so worried that she might hurt her head when she stumble from learning to stand..is there a helmet that we could buy to protect her head? we have a laminated flooring,kinda' will hurt her just in case she fall..thank u..

This really burned me up, This girl made a comment that parents are wrong for telling their kids they arent allowed to have sex but its ok for us to do it and that we were hypocrits, WTF, did I miss out on something over the years, can kids actualy work now and pay bills and drive cars and so forth to support the babies they have when they are 11,12,13 and 14? Are children aware of the dangers that are involved with sex at such a young age, Dont get me wrong there are good kids out their but Im talking about these kids who live in this fantasy worl and think nothing can happen.

As I asked before about barfing 24/7--
This pregnancy is so unlike my pregnancies with my son now 8 and daughter now 4. Btw, I seem to get pregnant- like every 4 years! If I get pregnant before the 4 year mark- I have a miscarriage. Weird, huh?! (okay that was random- just thought i'd share that! lol)

Anyway, I have major mood swings (which i never had before). I want to murder my bf, especially. I mean, he'll say something that i don't like (and it may not even be something bad) ..and I'll start yelling at him, cussing at him, and sometimes nearly wanting to beat him up!
I'm normally a sweet person. So, it bothers the hell out of me that i've become an total biatch! I find myself saying things like, "I wish I never met you, then I would have never gotten pregnant... or stfu! this is NOT your baby!!!'
I know those things hurt him but it makes me feel better.

It's getting so bad-- it's messing up our relationship.

Is this normal or am I psycho??!

I've gone to teh dr about 10 times for this rash. the first time i went it was just on my neck and it was round red blotches it looked a lot like ring worm. the dr told me it was ring worm gave me a anti fungal cream and sentme on my way i did this until it was gone and went back because it had spread to my breasts , covering them. the dr said he had never seen ringworm in differnt places like that but it was definetly a fungal rash, he asked a differnt dr to look at it they agreeed it was fungal. They gave me a differnt anti fungal cream sent me home and after 2 weeks of taking it i went backbecause it spread all over my stomach and the back of my neck and a few spots on my back. at this time they did a skin biopsy because if it wasfungal it would of cleared up. well the nurse called me today and said that the lab said that the rash was just causehd by pregnancy. my doctor said he's never seen anything like that and totally disagrees. it itches like crazy and hurts really bad.

I have a month old baby boy named Aiden.It sounds like he's getting a lot of air when he's nursing, and suffers from alot of gas I think because of it. Is there something I could do differrently to correct this?
