If you feel you are unable to parent a child at this time adoption is a wonderful adoption. You are providing your child with a loving home and stable parents, and if you are lucky, you can establish an open adoption where you can be kept up to date and even interact with your child. It's win-win for everyone. My two older children are adopted from Vietnam, and we are fortunate to have contact with their birthfamily in Vietnam. It's been incredible for all of us, and there is just tons of love for the kids. Good luck. Make sure you go with your heart.

if you want to go through all that pain, physically and emotionally. Even after the adoption. Don't you think you'll think about your kid later in life? It might hurt you later when you are ready for a kid knowing you have one out there...somewhere. Will you want to part with it after 9months? It might make you change your mind when you're not ready for a kid. People think adoption is SO much beter than abortion, but do you actually KNOW how many kids are in adoption clinics and in foster homes? TONS! Foster home kids get abused all the time. People (some) adopt just for the checks and not the kid. More and more Americans are adopting from other countries and not the US. Why just add another body to be shuffled around? Abortion is final and over-with. You will not go through the pain and stress now, or later. I say abortion, no strings.

But good luck whatever you do

If you feel that you cannot possibly provide a safe, secure and happy environment for the baby then you should consider adoption. A baby does change everything so if you feel you are too young to handle all the responsiblity then please consider adoption. There are many loving couples that would give your child a safe, secure and happy life. Good luck!

That is a great Idea. Better adoption than abortion.
There are so many women out there that can't have babies for one reason or another. That is very responsible of you to think of adoption.

You should do what is best for your baby. If you don't think you can handle the responsibility then that may be an option for you to think about. Otherwise, maybe you should look into some better options afterwards to keep from having an unwanted pregnancy.

how old are you? Adoption is something you should think about carefully. Will you be emotionally ready to part with the child once he or she is born? I do applaud you for not considering abortion though, not very many ppl think adoption is even an option...

Definitely do adoption. If you have an abortion, but afterwards change your mind, there is nothing you can do to get your baby back. If you decide for adoption, and things change, you can always keep the baby.

How far along are you? You could have the pregnancy terminated, you would only be expelling a clump of cells. If you can't do that for whatever reason then adoption is a good idea.
