So my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for about 1 year. We have recently starting seeing a specialist. He is pretty sure I have Endometriosis. I am scheduled to have surgery next Friday due to this. Strange thing is that this month I had really sore breast about 1 week after ovulation and my veins got darker on my breasts. These symptoms seemed to go away and then I had a little reddish brown discharge in my panties. This happened when I should have been a few days left until I started. I read and different places said this could be implantation bleeding. This made me happy, but then the next day I started my period. I had really bad cramps as I always do. I figured I was not pregnant and went on about my day. That was 4 days ago. Now today I can not stop going to the bathroom and I usually don't go much at all. I know I do have a cyst so that may have something to do with the bleeding if I am pregnant. I have to know before my surgery.

Well, I'm not sure what that was and it is a good idea to mention it to the specialist. The darker vein thing probably would not have shown up quite that soon, but maybe it was some kind of hormonal fluctuation. I, too went through years of infertility treatments and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

There are many pregnancy tests you can get now that do early detection but having been in your situation and taken many thinking I was - I suspect you aren't - you are just really wishing you are. Make sure you tell the hospital about all this before surgery.

Usually if you had strong cramps its not a pregnancy. Was the blood bright red? How long did it last? If anything a simple test can tell you.

It can also be all in your head. We can make our bodies do things with our minds without wanting too.

If you have not taken a pregnancy test yet. I would try first response OTC test. it is said that it the earliest detector you can buy. there are all kinds of websites that will give you a pregnancy check list. Good luck. Don't give up Keep trying.

First thing I would do is take a test. If it comes out positive -- CONGRATS but if it comes out negative I would call your Doctor and fill him in on what has been going on with your body. The Doctor can take a blood test and let you know for sure what is going on.
