This really burned me up, This girl made a comment that parents are wrong for telling their kids they arent allowed to have sex but its ok for us to do it and that we were hypocrits, WTF, did I miss out on something over the years, can kids actualy work now and pay bills and drive cars and so forth to support the babies they have when they are 11,12,13 and 14? Are children aware of the dangers that are involved with sex at such a young age, Dont get me wrong there are good kids out their but Im talking about these kids who live in this fantasy worl and think nothing can happen.

11-14 year olds CAN'T drive or work real jobs legally. And the reason they might know how to do things like that and pay bills etc is because their parents are irresponsible and pushing that stuff on the kids for survival. Vicious cycle.

Also, having kids when you are a kid robs you of your child hood and it will F- them up later in life.

What needs to happen is the parents of these kids wanting to have kids at that age is this. Their parents should kick them out and cut off ties with them for a month. Let them get a taste of reality on their own, even without a kid to support too. That will open a lot of eyes!

Guess I missed her question. Kids are kids. And they think they know everything and that their parents are just blowing smoke and they have never seen anything or know anything. The only thing you can do is watch over your own children. Make sure that you teach them well and not let them fall into situations such as that one. For instance: if you have a 13 year old daughter. Dont let her date. She shouldnt be having a boyfirend either. What do you think that boyfriend wants to do with her. Same with a 16 year old. What do you think her boyfriend wants?

I agree. All you see on talk shows are these 11, 12, 13 year old girls that want to have a baby, and they don't care what anyone else thinks. I think many children are misguided. I had sex when I was 15, but if needed, I had a job, and the guy that I had sex with was perfectly able to take me and our baby in. Kids these days don't think about consequences.

No they can't do all of that. But they can point out the hypocrisy in adults very clearly. Adults do the EXACT same thing, and more than half don't have jobs, cars, or pay any bills when they concieve either. Having sex as an unmarried adult is JUST as wrong and even MORE dangerous than it is for them since it's less likely that the eleven year old has an STD.

Stupid kids... My lil cousin asked me in fact yesterday, what would i say if she would get a boyfriend (she is 12). And i was like NO if i find out that you have a boyfriend i'm going go to your school and kill you haha. Kids these days are growing up way to fast... Like yesterday she was showing me one of her friends on Myspace and her name for myspace was "a hoe fosho" a freakin 12 year proclaiming that she is a hoe! What the hell is wrong with her?! Gosh can someone freakin tell me! I wanted to ask my cousin where she lived so i can go over there and slap her into reality, of all places she put that on Myspace? Where hella little girls almost got raped for going and meeting guys through there. Aye, i swear!

I agree, however, kids these days are growing up alot faster, I'm only 17 and I see 9th and 10th graders and even 8th graders that do things and say things that I wouldn't have dreamed of a couple of years ago, but unfortunately, even though this sounds bad, sometimes kids have to make their own mistakes and you have to let them learn about them on their own, it's too bad that most of those mistakes now and days are so life altering...

I agree with you totally, you have good morals. Unfortunately the world in in pretty sad shape and kids are thinking about sex before they even give up their barbies. It is so sad, but I don't see it getting any better. Even television sexualizes kids if you watch enough of it you will see what i mean.

I agree totally! I mean seriously, I'm scared of what our future will be like with these type of people out in the world. A teenager has no business with a child!

Actually I don't think it's really legal in a lot of places for a kid under 14 to work so how would they support themselves?

There is no wrong age to have sex as long as you do it safely. Use a condom. Use birth control pills. And if that fails then get an abortion as a last resort. Sex is fun and pleasurable and great for a relationship. Any time you spend waiting is time you are missing out.
