So I'm definitely old enough to have sex, I just wanted to wait for marriage... but .. I made one mistake.. and I did have sex, we did use a condom, and I am aware that they aren't 100 percent protective, that only abstinence is, but.. this happened in the beginning May. It's now August and for the last.. almost month I should say, I've gotten tired, and suddenly I crave chocolate which I hate, or pizza. And onec I'm near it, and smell it, I feel sick. I feel like I'm going to throw up whenever food is around, and barely can eat and keep anything down.. and the other day I was in a store and I walked out with my friend and I was like oh boy, she was wearing waaay too much musk, and my friend looked at my funny and said "um.. I didn't smell anything"... I'm afraid I'm pregnant.. does it sound overly possible? Cuz I've still had my period, but I heard you could have it up to so many months..

Hey, first of all, I'm not a Doctor, but I did work for a GYN for two and half years. I think that it is possible, since you have already had sex and you are at a very young age, that your hormones are changing. like your PMS symptoms. PMS isn't just during your period, its before and after by like atleast two days. these symptoms do change, over time. If you take birth control, or if you have sex for the first time. Stuff like that. Evertyhitng that you mentioned, does sound like you're pregnant, but you shouldn't assume that you are unless you've taken atleast two home pregnancy tests and they were both positive. That is something that you should have already done. Emergency birth control, you could take up to 72 hrs after you have intercourse. there is such a thing as a false pregnancy too. I think that you should take all that into consideration first. Is your period regular. How fertile are you? all of those things could help you figure out if you really are or not.

I am an RN and a mother of 5, first off if you are still having your period what kind is it. If you have any clotting ( I know this is gross...sorry) then you are definatly not pregnant. If it is light pink spotting then definatly get checked. Just because you are into chocolate or pizza and can smell better is not a sign of pregnancy it could be just menstral hormones that are a little bit more zealous this month either way go to your doc and get checked! Good Luck !

It could be a false thing, where your body thinks it because you fear it. I had that happen to me once. But the only way you will know for sure is if you take the test. I went thru it alone but if there is a friend you can talk to you should get with em and get a test. There are lots of clinics you can go to and get a free one just check you area. Or you can buy one but I didnt feel right until I went to the doc and got one. It was like a weight lifted off me when I found out I wasnt. Good luck to you, which ever way you want it to be. I know what you are going thru.

it is possible to have a period up to 5 months when you are pregnant but it is very rare. The first thing you should do is if you are under 18 please tell your mom or dad. They need to know what is going on. They love you and they will get through this. Also it does sound like you might be but you need to go get checked and your mom will be able to help you out with this. Also if it turns up that you are not pregnant you might want to think of a more permanent type of birth control OK.

Well it sounds like you could be. Yes you can still have a period while pregnant. Or you could be frightening yourself into having the symptoms. If you don't go see the doctor at least get a home pregnancy test

It was in May. Then you would be around 2 months if so. Now by now you would see some changes take a test to be safe.

You might just be thinking alot of about and convincing your body one thing and it not really being true.

you wouldn't be having a period if you were pregnant. and if you want to know for sure, take a pregnancy test. the over the counter ones work if you follow directions (pretty much the same "qualitative" test we do here). but you're not pregnant. i think it's all in your head, remember the mind and body work as a unit. your body is responding to what you're thinking and it sound's like you've worried yourself sick.

I don't think you are. The best way to find out is a pregnancy test. Depending how old you are, it might be hormone changes causing the cravings and stuff. When you are scared you might be pregnant, people tend to concentrate and the "signs" of pregnancy and and your imagination tends to exaggerate them.

Get a test pack in pharmacy. Or better visit a doctor, because sometimes those tests show wrong results
