i bought a test from the dollar store today and i think i may have got a positive... the control line is very thick and bold but the positive line so soooo skinny and very very VERY light... can that be a false positive or an evaporation line? has anyone else had similar experiences?
(i tested a day early because i believe ive had implantation bleeding.. )

I took a dollar store test when i was pregnant with my son adn the line was very faint. You are pregnant, you probably just arent very far along---i was only 2 weeks, that's why the line wasn't very dark. Good luck and congratulations!!

The same thing happened to me. I went and bought a generic test and had very faint lines. I went to the doctor a couple of weeks later and they confirmed I was pregnant. Usually, even if the line is faint, it means positive.

buy another test from the dollar store you dont have to get a exspensive test my doctor told me all those over the counter tests are the same. i know alot of people that used a dollar store test and said the same thing that it looked light but you could tell it was there and they found out they were pregnant. try your first morning urine and if its the same then just call your doctor to have them do a test. but it does sound like you are pregnant.

Sounds like a positive to me. You could always retest with a home kit to be sure, but you could also have a doctor preform a more accurate blood test. Since the test responds to human growth hormone it is pretty uncommon to have a false positive.

Don't buy pregnancy tests from the dollar store, how could you trust a test that only costs you a buck?!! Go get an EPT or Clear blue easy from Walmart or a drug store.

Take another test in 3 days... if you are pregnant... then the line will be more a little more visible (maybe not by much). Or if you want a more accurate answer... get a pregnancy test done by blood. Good luck!!

First of all, when trying to figure out if you're pregnant or not, don't buy the test from the dollar store. This is definitely one of those situations where you should splurge and get a good one.

Well they say that any line means positive.
Evaporation line would be if you had waited a long time and then looked at the test. Sometimes there is a line then.
I would say wait a couple of days and then test again.

That happened with mine and 9 months later had a little boy. Most likely a positive. I would suggest taking another to make sure.

test three more times. it'll only be like 3 more dollars. versus 20 bucks. those dollar store tests aren't very realiable at all though.
