I had a baby on 8-4 and my Doctor says I have to wait 6 weeks to use our swimming pool. That's the rest of the summer! I'm wondering if anyone did it sooner without any ill effects. I think he's being overly cautious.

ok i finally got on the pill to regulate my cycles so that i wont be irregular..my question is ok i forgot 1 day and me n my hubby had sex and he eja. in me and then a day later i started but it was REAL REAL heavy.is that a miscarriage or is it just my period tryin to catch up for the lost time that it was irregular?

Since some people advocate letting a child breastfeed up to age 7, (and I see nothing wrong with their personal choice) suppose a bottle fed child desires his or bottle that long as well? Shouldn't they have it? What do you think? I mean, it's the same thing , different delivery system. The sucking brings comfort, and it they need their "ba ba" past infancy, is this any different than breastfeeding past infancy?

Where is the line? How much is bleeding and how little is spotting. I am 6 wks pregnant. I started spotting 2 days ago. I was passing clots without heavy bleeding. The bleeding has gotten a little heavier to where I have to ware a pad, but its not filling the pad up. I went to the doctor yesterday and they did an ultrasound. The baby is still there. I haven't heard the heart beat yet. And they said that I was two days off, I should be 6wks 6days but I'm 6wks 4 days. Thats according to my first ultrasound last week and the one they did yesterday. The nurse said that the sac had changed but she didn't know what it was doing, it could be good or bad. I could just be one of the women who has a period during pregnancy because it started at the same time I would have started my period. And when I'm not pregnant I do have clots during my period. They took my blood to check my hcg levels and I won't know anything until tomorrow. Has this ever happened to anyone? What happened?

I went to the hospital yesterday because I was having problems and they said i was one to two centimeters dialated but my cervix was still long, what does this mean for me in terms of how long will it take to progress with a third child especially because my second child is only 10 months old

is it cheaper to use cloth diapers??? how do you use them, what to buy, do they leak easily when you have a baby that wiggles and rolls around a lot? i've never known how to use cloth diapers and wonder if it is worth it?

Should parents:
1. Pay the whole thing
2. Make the kids pay half
3. pay some
4. Not pay for anything

We have 3 kids in college. We pay for their undergrad degree 100% (We pay for ALL their expenses during college but not their fun money - they must get a job for that)
Our oldest is now in grad school and he pays for that himself.
**We have 1 more to put through in a couple years!

I am a little younger than many of the mom's I come into contact with. I live in an upper middle class neighborhood and most of the other moms are older, and I feel like a clueless kid sometimes. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. Needless to say, we are having a lot of sex. One night during sex my husband looked down and there was blood all over the bed. This may be TMI, but here goes: My 5 year old daughter is supposed to be starting kindergarten in two weeks, but she is still having issues going #2 in the potty. She knows how to go to the potty (she has no problems with #1), and she has times where she does really well going #2, but she still goes #2 in her pants probably 2-3 times per week. I don't think the school will allow her to begin kindergarten if she is doing this, but I have tried everything to get her to stop, even buying her a toy when she goes in the potty. Anyone else have this problem or am I alone? Any suggestions for how to get her to stop for good?

She is not a picky eater and eats everything i give her. I give her Pediasure and Multi Vitamin also. She is active, jolly and playful but i m still concern about her weight. Right now she weighs 9.2 Kg and her height is 79 cm. Please give me any suggestions.
