Can I have sex while I'm pregnant?
Absolutely. With a normal pregnancy, you can keep doing it right up until your water breaks. Do check with your doctor or midwife first if you've been treated for premature labor or if you're having any problems with your pregnancy, such as a shortened or dilated cervix, leaking amniotic fluid, placenta previa, or bleeding, or if you have a history of miscarriages. There are some instances when you should avoid having sex.
But as long as your pregnancy is normal, you won't hurt the baby by making love, even with your partner on top. The thick mucus plug that seals the cervix helps guard against infection. The amniotic sac and the strong muscles of the uterus also protect your baby. Though your baby may thrash around a bit after orgasm, it's because of your pounding heart, not because he knows what's happening or feels pain.
Will it feel as good?
Even better for some women, not as good for others. Increased blood flow to the pelvic area can cause engorgement of the genitals and heighten the sensation. But the same engorgement gives other women an uncomfortable feeling of fullness after intercourse ends. Also, some women may have abdominal cramps during or after intercourse. Your breasts may become enlarged and can be more tender, which can cause discomfort when they're fondled. You may have more vaginal discharge or moistness, which can make sex either more pleasurable or can result in some vaginal irritation. If you notice a sudden change in the amount of vaginal discharge or a foul or unusual odor, check with your practitioner. You could have a vaginal infection or your bag of waters may have broken. When your water breaks, you may feel a slow leak rather than a gush of fluid all at once.

No, it won't harm the toddler. the only subject that would harm is that if your hubby lays on good of you once you're some distance alongside. probability is, that may not happen when you consider that is barely undeniable uncomfortable for you, too. while you're companies to preterm labor, intercourse *would* carry approximately contractions yet even it is an relatively small danger. many women persons have a hormone surge, so some do no longer decide to have intercourse in any respect, jointly as others appreciate it extra throughout being pregnant that on the different time, and that's extra 'relaxing' to them, too.

No , in a normal pregnancy sex will not hurt the baby or cause a miscarriage. the fetus is well protected in amnio fluid & the uterus witch is sealed buy the mucus plug in the cervix. However an intense orgasm (such as the kind triggered by masturbation) may not be a good idea in a pregnancy at high risk for miscarriage or premature labor.

No, sex during pregnancy does not hurt the baby. But if you are uncofortable or are experiencing pain, you should check with the doctor. Sex can stimulate labor when you are close to your due date as well.

no it can't hurt your baby, but they do say it can put you in labour when you are due. However it didn't work for me, but lots of people said it worked for them. I had sex through out my whole pregnancy and it never bothered the baby or did anything, it just maybe a little uncomfortable for you thats all.

No. For one the baby is in a protective sac and two- he can't reach that far in. Positions can be uncomfortable and if they are just change to a new one.

No No No...In fact that is one of the ways that helped me to go into to labor w/my first child. Its real seriously, don't let being pregnant stop you from having sex. And when you are close to your due date I vouge for it, its the best way to go into labor.

Only if you get AIDS or something. As long as you are in a monogamous relationship it will not hurt the baby.
