Yes, usually around 1 week before you go into labor you wil normally lose 3-5 pounds. This isn't always true though.

False It is true when you get pregnant you loose weight before you gain it. You gain weight rapidity in your last trimester, I gained 15 pounds before I had my baby, That's alot in you last month, That was the only month I looked pregnant. You baby grows the most in the last trimester. Some woman may loose weight before they go into labor, Different woman different pregnancy's. Good luck

I always did. I lost in the neighborhood of 5-8 pounds in the 2 weeks before labor all 3 times.

I have never heard of losing wait before going into labor however, after giving birth is when you loose weight. Because the baby makes up half of your weight...

It was true for me. The last dr. visit I had before I went into labor was on a Wed. and my water broke that Thurs. nite. At that dr.'s appt. I had lost 2 pounds from the week before.
My mother also did the same thing when she had me.
I'm not sure if it happens to everyone, but it does seem to happen in my family.

I've never heard of that before. And as far as I remember, with my first pregnancy, I was gaining weight all the way until the end.

Not excactly. You can. My doctor told me that usually during the last month or so, most people stop gaining weight, and some people will lose weight.

No it is not true...you gain more weight before delivery because the baby is putting on more weight.
