tell me if u think im a good mom. ok here is the story. i got pregnant and when i told my boyfriend he left me and gave me $100 and told me that he didnt want to have to do anything with the baby. i wanted the baby to have a father and to have a good life so i started dating people in my early months of pregnancy and see if any of them were father material, and if i love them and their nice i would mary them so the baby could have the father. do you ask why i did this? well i was thinking about my baby, and it is to horrible to even think of a abortion. i found the perfect man for the job and when it started to show that i was pregnant i told him. he was suprisingly alright with it!! aparently he wanted kids and he really loved me so we got married.i loved him to but (i no this sounds horrible) i just wanted a father for my child. the bay is a healthy little boy and we have a very happy marrage, but right after the baby was born.. see mi other question 4 the rest of the story.

As in, popularity in school.

This is not in connection with me, I'm just curious. It seems to be a huge thing to people in Jr. High, but once you leave there it doesn't seem to matter anymore. I've observed this with various younger siblings of my friends.

Also, why is it so important to teens and preteens?

my wife and i have individual insurance. There is no maternity coverage. We want to have a baby in the most cost effective way but also in a quality hospital. We both make good money so we don't qualify for government programs like medicaid. I really just want to avoid paying 10k out of pocket if possible.

my daughter is 5 months and on enfimil gentlease b/c enfimil lipil gave her gass really bad. the gentlease has been gerat until reacently, she started spitting up really bad every time she eats and all day she spits up here and there i told her dr and she didnt do anthing or say to change her formula any suggestions on what to do?

I have been on the birth control pill for many years. I got off of it in June, Ovulated on July 2nd and had intercourse July 2nd-4th and now it is Aug. 7th and my period is late, 9 days late. Could I be pregnant? I really don't have any signs besides many weight gain, but it has only been a month. could I be pregnant?

My sister is having her first baby & she wants a very Italian sounding name (since her baby will be ~3/4 Italian) (to Americans). What is the most Italian sounding, elegant name you can think of?
She is considering Nicoletta or Marcella. Nicoletta is my screen name, so I like that!

Okay, I am a single Mom, work full time, already stressed. I know terrible 2s bring defiance, tantrums, etc but my little 23 mth old WILL NOT eat what I am giving him (foods that he has eaten with no problems in the past-and recently). I know some articles say this is normal, just get him to eat something & end of story but all he wants now is Pudding. His treat and sweet foods are limited to yogurt, pudding, unsweetened applesauce and occasionally crackers. I do not buy ice cream, chips, candy, or cookies for him (or myself). I'm trying to teach him that I am not running a restaurant, would rather not give in because then he'll think he can always get what he wants. I also do not want to be up during the middle of the night because I have a hungry child. I want him to learn this lesson, I'm fighting with myself to not yell and scream about it, but this is really driving me nuts. I don't have time to make 2 or 3 dinners for him per night because he's 'clenching his jaw'. HELP

him everyday to eat, but he won't...He just brings the money home, He says that he is fine, but I am afraid that going with lunch might affect his concentration in his afternoon classes....Any help on what can be said to him to make him think twice...He comes home starving after school.

My husband and I want to name our baby girl Addison. We however, do not like the nickname "Addy", and do not want her called that. We are hoping that if we have a nickname for her before we announce her name, that we can aviod her being called Addy. why is it that people such as myself can try to have a baby and when we do get pregnant it ends up in miscarriage or something, when any street whore crackhead can pop them out one after another and just throw them in the garbage so those of us who are not as lucky can read about it in the newspapers????
It's not fair. I believe in God and all but how can he be so cruel as to give such a gift to those who will abuse it or kill it instead of someone who will nurture it and care for it the way it deserves?

I know you cant tell until you have an ultrasound. But I am 20 weeks and my doctor wont do one until 24 wks. I can feel the baby kicking me really low in my belly, does this indicate boy? Just want to know your experiences. :)

Could i still be pregnat ? I know is kind of wear because my stomach moves around,like i feel a push right on my belly???????? I mean my stomach is not hard but it does get hard after I eat,and yes I already went to the DC, and he gave me a preg test (URINE) and it was neg, I waited 1:00 and all the sudden he came out with a RN, and said I had a UTI,gave me ANTIB- for 4 days,but all the symptoms of a UTI, I didn't have, like painful urination,discharge, I dont know But I do feel movement specially after I eat.And like I said he did not examine me I was not even put in a room,he told about the UTI in the waiting room.

Hi,everyone I am a concerned parent wondering about a daycare my child attends.My daughter is 2 years old have been touching and feeling on anyone.I'm wondering where did she get this from.So, I went to the daycare and seen a little boy touching on another girl the same way my daughter was touching me. I saw two boys touching each other..I dont know what to do. What actions should I take? She started this fondling when I enrolled her in this daycare.
