Boy or girl.......?

Question

I know you cant tell until you have an ultrasound. But I am 20 weeks and my doctor wont do one until 24 wks. I can feel the baby kicking me really low in my belly, does this indicate boy? Just want to know your experiences. :)

Oh my god! You are in the same situation I'm in. Let me guess you are due around December 25-31? Well I am 20 weeks too but and I feel like my baby is REAL low, I should know because this is my second pregnancy, I think I am carrying a girl. My midwife don't want me to get another ultrasound until I am 28 weeks thats too long. I am going to try to talk her into letting me take it at 24 weeks. Well Congratulation!! Kicking in the low belly doesn't really indicate a boy or girl. There are the old wives tales, chinese lunar calendar, the "drano" test. They are all some type of philosophies. I'm 18 weeks and my ultrasound is in another 2 weeks. I'm really excited. The real way (& accurate way) is the good old ultrasound. The REALLY hard part is waiting. I'm a very impatient person, so if I can wait...I'm sure you can too sweety....but hey CONGRATULATIONS!!!

there is no real way of knowing unless your doctor tells you from ascan, i have a little boy and he kicked all over the place. But like you i wanted to know from day one and i found out at my 20 week scan, its a great experience to see what inside you on a sceen. Good luck with all

I am 24 weeks and I have kicking in my lower stomach and I have a girl. So until you have your ultrasound there is really now way to tell.

All babies kick in the belly, whether up or down they all kick, but let me give you a tip: you have 50% chance of having a boy and 50% of having a girl, as simple as that.

Tie a ring on a string, lay down and put it over your belly, it will automatically swing, If it goes horizontial it's a boy if it goes in a circle it's a girl....just an old legend...but hey I've got a 50/50 chance!

No you never can tell. I have a little girl and she gave all the signs that everyone even the doctors thought she was a boy. Congradulations and good luck.

you can't really tell just because you carry low, eventhough I carried low and it turned out a boy but my second was very high and everyone said it was girl but guess what it was a boy.anyway be patient when you do find you'll be soo excited and it won't matter what it is just as long as it's healthy. keep me posted . good luck,and don't worry .

I carried my boy all around I carried my girl all in the front my ultrasound always said that my girl was a boy
