there are a few things that could be going on . . I am a high school teacher and see the same thing at my school . . most kids don't eat because they say the food isn't that great . . they just buy a snack (chips or Little Debbie cakes) and a drink and say they wait until they get home to eat . . . or it could be an image problem . . maybe he doesn't like the other kids at school seeing him eat . . .

I would say suggest that he take lunch from home and see how that goes . . . or just make sure he eats a good breakfast before leaving for school . . .

dont worry about it, the same thing happened to me my freshman year, i am going to be a sophomore and for like the entire second semester i didnt eat lunch, i either wasnt hungry, the line was too long or i was too busy. Just see if he is eating a big breakfast and then if he is having a snack when he comes home. I can easily go through school without eating, i just eat breakfast and then have a snack when i come home. Your lucky though, he actually gives you the money back, i keep the money for myself. But yea, just make sure that he is eating something, at sometime and not starving himself. There are a lot of reasons he could not be eating, i doubt he is anorexic. Not concentrating in afternoon classes is normal, i never can.

I used to never eat lunch at school...but I was smoking pot...i didn't have time to eat, but you say he is bringing the money home.
Well come on lady your answer is right there why don't you take the time to make him something he enjoys. He also might not want to eat in front of people or in a noisy cafeteria. So if you pack his lunch for him he might want to go eat alone under a tree or something.

It's nothing, I usually skipped lunch too. If he's kind of shy it might be because he's scared of eating in front of other people or going to get his lunch when he's unfamiliar with the routine, that's how it went with me. If you're really concerned about him eating just give him some fruit or something for him to snack on during lunch.

i don't comprehend how wholesome or risky they're yet I doubt they're that terrible. protein bars are literally not the answer. diverse them have a ton of sugar in them. also taking a ton of supplementations is more effective of a waist than something else. as a rule except you're taking the right blend of issues your body will do exactly away with diverse it and it basically will grow to be extreme priced Pee. that's ok that she should be and devour wholesome yet she needs to study the right thanks to do it. basically doing random belongings you imagine may artwork isn't the answer. i ought to guage packing her lunch or letting her %. her own lunch. notwithstanding it ought to have the right blend of meals to be wholesome. evaluate getting her books on a balanced wholesome diet that spells out what meals to devour and in what combos. yet make effective they're modern-day. diverse old concepts were shown incorrect those days. undergo in innovations Margarine... terrible for you... authentic Butter a lot more effective constructive for you than margarine, notwithstanding you nevertheless favor to apply it sparsely. That's normal.
I'm 17 years old, a junior in high school, and I usually don't eat lunch.
But that's because it's nasty. And I'm on a diet, and cafeteria food is NOT healthy at all...unless they have salads and my school usually doesn't sell those.
Now, unless he's not eating at home, then you should worry.
He probably thinks he's fat, and if that's the case and if he's not, then you need to sit him down and have a talk with him explaining that he's not. But if he is a bit on the chunky side, and he wants to lose it, take him to a doctor to see about some sorta weight loss thing.
But like I said, it's usually normal because the school food sucks. lol

I bet that he doesn't like the schools food...I never did when I was in school. I would usually wait till afterwords to eat. It sounds like he has lunch afterschool though? Anyways, I would suggest buying him snacks instead of the money, so he can still eat in a sense and get the nourishment for his concentration, and still eat after school.

I don't eat at school either and I'm fine. He may just be embarrassed to eat in front of people or maybe he and his friends do stuff during lunch and he just doesn't have an appetite.

Perhaps he doesn't like eating in front of others? Make sure that you give him a multivitamin if you don't think that he is eating enough to meet all his nutritional needs.
Please watch out for anorexic behaviours, and although he may see it as you nagging, give him every opportunity that you can to talk to you about what is happening, and continue giving him healthy well balanced meals at home.
