As in, popularity in school.
This is not in connection with me, I'm just curious. It seems to be a huge thing to people in Jr. High, but once you leave there it doesn't seem to matter anymore. I've observed this with various younger siblings of my friends.
Also, why is it so important to teens and preteens?

Popularity is wasting your life to get people to like you when it's not going to matter three years later. It's important to teens and preteens because they are stupid.

Hey it matter there is 2 different kind of popularity's. Usually people think it all about the cute girls and junk like that. But this year I learn that there also that every body like you popularity. Where everybody knows you for who you are no matter if your pretty or ugly. There is always someone to talk to when you get bored and no cares really if you make bad grades or not. I mean if you got almost the whole school liking you. You are so popular.!!!!!!!!!!

Popularity Is a bunch of losers who think there cool and hang out with other ''COOL'' people.teens and preteens think it's cool because they get to hang out with other kids who are "COOL"

You alwayse have someone to hang out with, and when you dont, you talk with them on your phone.
Its inportant cuz thats how you are going to be remembered for the rest of your life.

no for real. all popular girls at my school are nothing but known as hores, that sleeps with eveyone, they dress like hores, they look like hores. and then the better populars are like jocks, or just bitches.

It determines who you are, how you're treated, and when/where you're invited. It's crucial to be as high as you can get when you're in Junior High.
