Pregnancy & Parenting - 4 August 2006

My daughter is expecting her 3rd child late this fall and has been experiencing severe back and leg pains. During an ultrasound it was discovered that she has what is referred to as a growth in her uterus....it is not a fibroid tumor apparently because it is vascular. Has any one had any experience with this or know something of what it is an indicator of? Is this something to be overly concerned about either for the baby or the mother? Thank you for any input you can give me.

My daughter has woken up the last two nights at about 10 (she went to sleep at about 8) screaming. The screaming lasted about 30 minutes each time, until I fed her again. But she was fed just 2 hours earlier, and took enough each time, so I know she wasn't starving. I think the eating just soothed her. She hasn't been pulling at her ears and they aren't red, so I don't think it's an ear infection. Anyway, she's 5 months old. Any thoughts?

that every one always asks do you think I am pregnant??? Is it really that hard to go and get a test. I mean come on. go to a drug store and by the no name brand test the cheapest one, they work just the same.

When someone asks if it is possible to have a period or spotting and be pregnant, why do so many people answer no its impossible? There has been so many people have periods or spotting in early pregnancy and even some through out their entire pregnancy. Before you answer someone's question make sure you know what your talking about. Yes you can have a period and be pregnant. Not every woman is the same. For some having spotting or a period through out pregnancy is perfectly normal for some women. So don't tell people that, no if you are having a period or spotting you CAN'T be pregnant, because you can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have read on some websites that precum doesNOT contain sperm. They say the only way that it does is if the man had recently ejaculated and hasnt gone to the bathroom since then. They said that the urine carries all the left over sperm out as it passes through the penis. Is that true?

Hi, Moms or Dads too. My son will be 4 in September and I have been able to stay home with him since November 05. I had a great career going, but when the opportunity to stay home with him came up, I took it! I do miss my career, but I love my son so much and I feel so much guilt because of his tons of hours in daycare. Any suggestions on ways to have fun with him and learn to enjoy just being at home and not working? I get so bored and unfulfilled doing kid stuff all day, but I want him to be a happy and secure child and grow up to remember his childhood with happy memories. My own mother is cold, we have little relationship and I am under constant scrutiny over my parenting style. The newest attack is that I spoil him and he "knows how to play me". Ofcourse, I disagree. Please...help me quiet this struggle I'm having on the inside. Thank you so much!!
