Whoever is born first is the older one. Just like with any other baby. Would you ever call a baby born 2 years later the older one? Why would you think that a baby born 2 minutes or 2 hours later is older?

Obviously the baby born at 11:15 is older than the baby born at 11:20... the first one out is the oldest.. I don't know where you heard otherwise.

It doesn't matter who's older in gestational age. And it's not an always thing that the smaller is born first. What matters, is who is born first.

For instance. I am currently pregnant with fraternal twins. One is older by one day, twin A. Twin A is in place go give birth first.

Here's a better scenario. My good friend was due to give birth a little after me. However, her son was born premature, and was born several months before mine. Her son is considered older, although he was younger in gestational age.

Gestational age is only that. Gestational age. We are considered what age we are, by when we are born.

The first one that comes out is baby A the oldest the next one is baby B the youngest. I should know I had twins in February.

The one that comes out first is the oldest. When doing a c-section the doc will usually make sure that there is at least one minute difference between the two.

The one that comes out first is the oldest because when the doctor yells out the time it is before the second baby is out.
